Montgomery is a delightful place that time has forgotten - which is why we decided to visit. The hotel had a relaxed atmosphere and the staff were cheerful and helpful. Food in the restaurant wasn't terribly exciting however breakfast was good. We had room 20 (I think) in the older part of the hotel building which certainly had character unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable which we discovered late in the evening. Had we stayed another night we would have asked for a different room. The Dragon is an interesting place to stay in a lovely little town - I would recommend it.
