“Diamond wedding anniversary celebration”
Reviewed 8 December 2013

We went to the Cherry Tree yesterday lunchtime to have a family celebration to celebrate my parents' 60th wedding anniversary. Well done to Ross, Kate and Abbie who couldn't have done any more for us. The meal was amazing which included a vegetarian option, the desserts were truly delicious and the service couldn't have been better. We are local so the word will be spread that this is the place to go if you want the personal touch. Well done.

“It did what it said on the tin!”
Reviewed 28 November 2013

We visited the pub last night for an early Christmas supper. I felt there was no atmosphere, it just seemed cold and stark. The food was OK average pub food there was nothing that actually stood out to say I would seriously want to go back there however because we need to support local businesses we will try Sunday lunch.

“Nice, but bar food is basic”
Reviewed 28 November 2013

Nice place, lovely staff and the most beautiful dog you can ever imagine.

Spotted a vegetarian option on the menu before we went (mushroom burger) so it was all sorted, but unfortunately the 'burger' was just some friend mushrooms in a bap. Not an acceptable vegetarian meal. However the chips were awesome.

Lights were quite dark in the bar too, could have done with being a little lighter!

“Great little village pub”
Reviewed 22 October 2013 via mobile

On a recent business trip I decided to try a few of the local pubs in the area and The Cherry Tree definitely came out top for me! Has a very relaxed and welcoming feel to it with friendly and chatty staff (perfect when you're on your own on a business trip!). The owners are trying to put their own stamp on the place with a few acoustic guitars decorating the walls which customers are free to play. As I dabble a bit I picked one off for a small play. Great fun as some of the locals are very talented and we ended up playing and singing late into the night.

As for the meal, I had a pork belly dish with mash, apple and black pudding. It was spectacular!! The pork was cooked brilliantly, very succulent with a tiny bit of crackling on! The apple and black pudding (and sausage it's served with) complements the pork brilliantly.

10/10 guys!

“Nice, friendly village pub”
Reviewed 4 October 2013

When we got snowed in last winter, we went for a wander along Bledlow ridge, and stopped off at the Cherry Tree to warm up and have a drink. We were impressed with the friendly service, and the range of drinks. Menu & food looked great (but we didn't have time to stay to eat). Nice to have a bar serve proper coffee (although it was a little expensive). Would definitely go back, and try food next time.
