We traveled down from Yorkshire with two other couples to watch Wharfedale RUFC play Worthing Raiders at Angmering for a two night stay. The Lamb has good off road parking. On arrival in the late afternoon we received a warm welcome at the Bar area which had an inviting cosy buzzy bistro atmosphere. The place was obviously quite popular with the locals. We were cheerfully ushered to a very good room, see our room hint. Our evening meals were a great experience. The Lamb runs a fairly comprehensive and appetizing menu. Several variations are offered each session which is good for those staying more than one or two nights. The food is of high quality, well cooked and well presented by an imaginative Chef. The Wine List offers plenty of choice and appears sensibly priced. We enjoyed the well chosen House Red and White. The staff deserve special mention, they were always very attentive, caring, considerate and cheerful. They all seemed intent on ensuring that we had a good experience. Highly recommended, we hope to visit them again in future.

Room Tip: Ask for Penfold - although on the roadside at ground level we found it quiet on our Friday night and...

We immediately felt welcome here, and we're very impressed with the evening meal and pub at the side.
Our room was comfortable and well - equipped, with a great shower/wet room.
We look forward to visiting again!

Second time of staying at The Lamb. Still of very high quality. Rooms lovely and food excellent. The staff were absolutely great and extremely attentive and helpful. Location good as a base for visiting the surrounding countryside.

Room Tip: All rooms would be suitable for a great stay.

A very friendly welcome and atmosphere. Nice to be somewhere that is not a chain hotel for a change. I was given the best room as the manager preferred it to be in use rather than sitting empty which was a nice touch. Food & beer excellent in the evening and breakfast of eggs Benedict was delicious.

The staff are very friendly & helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast. It is well presented & tasty. Our room was immaculately clean, comfortable (particularly the bed) and warm. All in all a wonderful stay - shame it was only for one night.

Stayed here 5 nights as working in the local area, had to write a review as this place really deserves it. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and hospitable, my room and restaurant immaculately clean. Amazing food - both dinner and breakfast. Nothing too much trouble for anyone. Mild annoyance would be noise from the bar/restaurant downstairs if really busy but wouldn't stop me from staying again, if I was there for pleasure rather than business I would be in the bar too!
