The gardens are worth a visit. Gift shop is fun and unique. The cafe food was ok, soup tasted funny, not anything like the corn and red pepper flavor I was expecting. Although there were lots of girls working, it was hard to get their attention and took forever to get drinks and food.

We expected the wine to be good but the food surpassed our expectations and was an absolute delight. The atmosphere is so lovely, in a beautiful beamed barn and a delightful shop, it's a really good place for a lunch with friends or a romantic dinner. Definitely worth a drive in the countryside to sample its delights.

Having just completed an extensive tour of garden attractions in East Anglia, I have to state this is by far the best. The gardens were so beautiful they brought tears to my eyes, my lunch, (gluten free!) on the patio, just divine, and the items in the gift shop too original too miss. All this, and I bought some wonderful plant specimens which were of far higher calibre than any in the surrounding nurseries. And I believe they make wine here too...
