“Class Act”

Came here with a group of friends for lunch and it was a class act from the service to the food. The shop next door is a step apart from you average shop - lots of unique offerings and the books on sale were very interesting - large variety. The chef is clearly a professional and the quality of the food was as good as it gets - all locally sourced and creatively presented. Looking forward to the next time we are in the area and can stop by for the culinary fun. Thanks to everyone for a good day.

I love coming here as it is always wonderful and tonight is no exception. Came for a work event and it was beautifully festive and the food and drink fantastic. Well done wyken. I will be back very soon!

Went to the restaurant for lunch on our 25th wedding anniversary - didn't book and we were made to feel a little uncomfortable initially although there were plenty of tables available. Menu choices were good and the food was excellent. Lots of locally sourced produce which is appealing. We shared a terrine to start which was lovely followed by venison and Suffolk lamb (both excellent) - desserts were also good. Can't fault the food and will definitely go back.

The gardens are worth a visit. Gift shop is fun and unique. The cafe food was ok, soup tasted funny, not anything like the corn and red pepper flavor I was expecting. Although there were lots of girls working, it was hard to get their attention and took forever to get drinks and food.
