“Tv memorabilia and a good burger”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2013

This was our third visit, mainly as my husband is such a fan of dads army, we have never been disappointed be it lunch or just a coffee and cake, very friendly and obviously popular with locals and visitors alike.

“Charming cafe, wonderful food.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 November 2012

We were househunting and visited this cafe st in the village of Ixworth, Suffolk.

It was actually a property, previously owned by the Croft family, David Croft being the writer of Dad's Army, It ain't arf 'ot mum and various other famous comedy shows.
The current owners showed great courtesy, friendliness to all of their guests and their food, cooked by the husband was first class and very reasonably priced.

There were tables indoors and outside in their courtyard, where various gatherings were taking place. It was obviously a focal point for friends and perhaps local clubs. Have a meal, chat and enjoy the ambience.

We shall most certainly visit their cafe again to repeat the experience
