We used this restaurant on Monday night (17th Feb) as they offer an "all you can eat" buffet for £12, when we got there we were amazed at how busy it was and with us not being pre-booked were not sure if we would get a table, but there was no need to worry, we were greeted at the door by a very pleasant young lady and were shown to a table straight away.
We ordered drinks and they were served within a couple of minutes. There were three of us that night so we ordered three appetizers to share ,salt and pepper prawns, bbq ribs and smoked chicken and to be honest they didn't last us long as they were fabulous so we asked for another helping and they duly obliged with i'm sure bigger portions, after that we had our main course's and everything was very tasty and piping hot, the waiting staff were were fantastic, attentive but not in your face, they did offer us more food but you can only eat so much so we declined, with a few drinks each and lovely food our bill only came to just over £20 per head, as i said earlier the place was very busy and i think we were fortunate to get in, the rest of the week the price is £17 for all you can eat and still think it would be worth the extra fiver. We will be back very soon. thank you.

Really enjoyed the meal. 3 of us ordered separate meals and shared so it was like a banquet. Finished starters and were able to order more. Service was good and food lovely will definitely be returning.

Just returned from the princess gardens after what was supposed to be a cheap night out with the girls. Iv been here a few times and have always enjoyed the food so we decided to go on a monday to have a cheaper night (since it is only £12). I wouldnt normally write a bad review but we have all came away feeling rather ripped off. When we asked for the bill we could not believe the price for our drinks- considering not one of us had an alcoholic drink and had mainly drank orange and water. For 5 girls drinking orange and water our drink total was £25. I understand places make there money from there drinks but i think £25 for orange and tap water is ridiculous. We decided to query the cost of the drinks and were told for a lime and soda it was £3.20 (i usually pay 60p for this in restaurants in town as the soda water is free) and for orange and water we were charged £2. This is just crazy prices for soft drinks. I have never in the past taken much notice of the cost of the drinks as you dont mind paying it when youve had a few alcoholic drinks.
I really feel that this restaurant is going down hill. The service tonight was not like we have had in the past. We were in the corner and felt like were were forgotten about for most of the night and at one point had to ask when the next course was coming out. The only time we were spoken to was when they were constantly asking if we wanted more drinks (now i know why this is). Iv read through the previous reviews and am surprised that not many people have picked up on this but like i say this was my fourth visit and i have only just realised. The restaurant have commented on a previous review in jan 2013 stating they were going to review the drink costs and reduce all soft drinks.... i do not believe they have ever done this!!!
Very disappointed and feel this has really put me off returning!!

A great meal for couples or groups of friends. Lovely fresh food, with each course brought out fresh when you have finished the previous course. Great service.
