A wonderful hotel who catered to us checking in late and also wanting food on arrival which was very kind of them. The room was large a very clean with comfy beds. Breakfast was also wonderful with helpful staff throughout our stay we were very happy and shall be booking a stay again when we are down in Kent again

Booked by my daughter for a meal prior to her wedding the next day. 8 adults and 2 children.
Though the staff were extremely busy we received super service.
Meals were substantial in size and cooked perfectly.
I can recommend the steak and spitfire ale pie. The 2 children were catered for.
Unfortunately none of the adults managed to find room for a sweet.

Great hotel with staff who can not do enough for you. The room was comfortable with every home comfort. We ate in the restaurant and had fantastic food. Despite the hotel being in the middle of the village it was very quiet. We would certainly stay here again.

Welcome greeting, excellent room and a fantastic evening meal. It's a lively atmosphere in the bar and a cosy treat in the restaurant.

Looking forwards to a full English cooked breakfast.

Highly recommended.

Every now and again one is comforted by the effort made by an individual to give that little bit extra. Our check in was delayed because of two serious RTA's en route. Phoning ahead to advise the hotel of our late arrival staff were courteous and suggested alternative arrangements to get our room key.

When we finally arrived the bar and restaurant had closed, along with most eateries in the area. Clearly sensing our starved, tired and frustrated demeanour our host offered to make us both sandwiches from the kitchen. It felt at that point mum was here. ;)

Anyhow, the room was spotlessly clean, well decorated and spacious. Parking was no problem.

At breakfast next morning we were greeted by a cheerful and attentive waitress. The menu for breakfast was extensive and catered for many tastes.

To conclude, the whole visit could have been one big headache but we had a home from home. Would stay again.
