We stayed here for one night as part of the coast to coast route in a dorm room sleeping 5 people.
The YHA is currently up for sale and will either be sold as is (i.e. continue to be a hostel) or be turned into something else.
This is apparently the oldest YHA in the country, and it did feel a little like that. Our room was very warm, and we struggled to open the windows. Bunk Beds probably seen better days, but the room was clean.
Overall could do with an upgrade but suited our needs.
Accomodation has shared toilets, showers, kitchen and there is a dry room. There is a store area for bikes.
