Myself and my huband are regulars here whether it's just for drinks or for something to eat. The food is standard pub grub but very good, they do a really good Sunday lunch, you can get a really good bottle of wine at a very reasonable price and there is also a good and varied selection of real ales. The pub itself is warm, comfortable and cosy with a nice atmosphere. Also a special mention for the staff most of whom have been there for ages and are all lovely, friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
