We returned to Trafalgar after not visiting for a while and were not disappointed. Four of us shared poppadums and pickles, the green chilli pickle is lovely and hot.
Then starters for us all, each was delivered piping hot and all were quickly dismantled. The bhuna prawn on puri looked great and my chicken tikka paneer was up to it previous wonderful standards.
We shared a mushroom and veg pillau and a garlic and peshwari naan between the four of us. Chicken Tikka Korai, King Prawn Dansak, Chicken Achari and (I think) Chilli Lamb Murgh were all tasty and served in large portions.
All washed down by a couple of beers each (Kingfisher has replaced Cobra as the draft indian beer) the bill was a very reasonable £94.
We ate well, in fact we couldn't finish it all. The service was attentive as ever without being too over the top.
Would I eat here again? Certainly. I'd probably remember to bring my own booze to save a few quid but if I forgot the beers aren't ridiculously expensive.
