This is our second visit to West Lodge. We visit family in Market Hatborough once a year and came last year with our son. He's now 3 and he loved it. We fed the lambs and had a tractor barrel ride. There's plenty of food options in the cafe. Lovely morning out! Thank you.

We visited West Lodge on a Bank Holiday, so I was slightly worried that the going would be tough for an elderly wheelchair user and a toddler in a buggy: the atmosphere was very jolly, though, and moving around and getting close to the animals was not a problem. There were lots of well-organised activities for older children too. All the animals looked great, and the hand-washing had good facilities and reminders without being alarmist. Staff were friendly and helpful.

A good range of garden products. It met all our requirements the day(s) were there. We have used it for items ranging from fruit trees in pots to garden pond accessories and water plants.helpful staff were on hand to advise.

Great day out for the kids with lots to see and do. Also have the usual events on such as feeding the lambs. Easter egg hunts, bonfire night and lots more at weekends. All in all good value for money for the time you can spend there.

Been here many times over many years and watched it change and evolve. As a family we had a year pass for two years running and moved out of area otherwise we would still have one. Thought it was time to submit a review and leave some hints and tis from our experiences to help all you review readers.

The farm is easy enough to find but the road is not great so you need to approach slowly for your cars sake., also every now again the farm try to fill the holes in the road with chipping sand be warned these fly up at your car so be vigilant! Once you have managed the road there is ample car parking that's free.

When you pay to enter look out for a few things, ask for a leaflet giving you a rundown of what's going on that day-'usually let you know the times of all the exciting things going on. Also this is where you will need to pay a small amount extra for a ticket to go on the tractor ride or ponies. Ask your kids now and pay as if you leave it till later they may run out of tickets. the same goes for some craft activities or seasonal displays such as Santa. the entrance is gained through a shop which sell the usual nick nails but they have some of the only childrens overalls around and they super cute if you want your little ones dressed as farmers for day.

Once in the park decide what to do and where to go after checking your leaflet for times. if you are visiting on a day without events then I recommend the daily pig racing, and barn displays and the cuddle corner. the last two offer rabbit stroking and feeding, sheep shearing, lamb feeding etc.

All the staff and farmers and working farm people and are lovely helpful land approachable so if you need anything then ask them.

Y will find the usual farm animals and feed is available to give them from the shop. there is a tractor pulled barrel ride offered free which runs hourly and all the kids love it. in the summer queues can be long but you will get on second time around.

Picnic areas are everywhere and some are under shade. A cafe also offers a nice place to sit- in fact I would visit the cafe land if I wasn't charged park entry! At Xmas it is lovely and usually holds a huge tree. Chalk boards and treasure hunts keep little ones amused and healthy option kids pack are on the menu.

Walks in the woods, make. Den, feed the animals, learn to make bread, carve a pumpkin soooo much to do.....and If you go on an event day the children will be more than happy and catered for.

I hope this place gets a trip adviser award at some point as it has no negative reviews, thoroughly recommend.
