We stayed for one night and wished we could stay for the week. Gorgeous room (Courtroom), superb dinner with good wine and excellent breakfast. The staff that we met were both very charming and looked after us well. We will definitely stay here again and look forward to it.

The hotel was super we couldn't fault it. We had their two night special deal, bed, breakfast and evening meal including wine. It really is good value. The food is excellent, I had the belly pork the first night, cooked to perfection. My wife had the fillet steak (£5.00 extra) that just melted in her mouth - superb! The following night we both he'd the fillet which again was lovely.

As we had our dog with us we were in the cottage across from the hotel. This was well furnished and very clean. The room was cleaned with fresh towels and the tea boat replenished. Dogs are not allowed on the hotel.

The staff were very polite throughout our stay. Especially in the morning at breakfast as they would quite happily pass the time of day with you. (probably to get out of the washing up).

This place really does make you feel relaxed to explore Cornwall.

Room Tip: Go for the two night deal - excellent value.

Found this place here on trip advisor and booked following other good reviews we were not disappointed with a five night stay over Christmas. Friendly welcoming owners and efficient, friendly staff, good location for exploring the area and excellent food. Alistair the owner prides himself on using local produce and the meals we had were all very good. It was great at breakfast too with a better choice than most places offer and you never felt rushed like some other places. The location was handy for going to Padstow, Port Issac, Wadebridge and the Eden Project and there was plenty of space for parking which can sometimes be difficult. The rooms were clean, warm & comfortable and quiet, we shall certainly stay again in future.

Needed an overnight stay when travelling from Nottingham to Cornwall last minute.
Read reviews on Trip Advisor and they were spot on although the photos form 2009 need to be removed!!!
Welcoming reception, lovely, comfortable accommodation enabling our dog to be with us as well.
The evening meal was gorgeous (and I'm a fussy eater), the breakfast spot on with huge choice and nothing too much trouble.
£100 for the double room, evening meal and breakfast - would thoroughly recommend.
Just wished we could have stayed longer !!

We had our wedding reception at the Trehellas House Hotel and it was the most perfect day imaginable. We booked the whole hotel for guests to stay and it really did feel like a home from home and it made our wedding day feel so special and intimate. The staff were incredible and Alistair and Debra worked so hard to ensure that we enjoyed a wonderful day with our friends and family. The food was delicious and all the staff were amazing and helped to make all of our guests feel comfortable and well looked after. It was just so lovely I can't recommend this place highly enough to any other couples looking for the most special wedding reception venue in the beautiful Cornish countryside. Thank you Trehellas House Hotel for the most incredible day!

Room Tip: The courtroom suite is spectacular!

We discovered this small hotel/restaurant as a last minute booking. The building and setting were lovely, staff were friendly, food was fabulous and overall value with the dinner, bed and breakfast deal was excellent. The only room left was small, but this was clearly indicated on the website and was fine for a one-night stop. We have already booked ourselves a weekend in in the new year and will be telling our friends about it.

After a long journey in horrible weather I found the hotel easily from the directions on the website. I was greeted by a very friendly and efficient receptionist and taken to my lovely single room.

It was incredibly comfortable and very well appointed - even with Earl Grey tea bags, which was a most pleasant surprise!

I slept very well and set off for a business conference feeling refreshed and pleased that I had found an hotel which is value for money and very pleasant to be in. I also discovered they take dogs in some rooms so that could be useful for the future.
