We discovered this pub after trying to find it when we saw it in the Wirral food and drink guide and when we found it we weren't disappointed.
Italian tapas a great idea and faboulus food. We ordered six dishes been the two of us and every dish excellent. Quite expensive but worth a treat look forward to going again for my birthday. Great service

We were in England visiting family for the weekend and the Dibbinsdale really was the icing on the cake. The staff are wonderful, the food inspired and the surroundings peaceful and relaxing. Our room looked out on mature trees and rhododendrons and had every comfort. I particularly loved the fact that there was a teapot in the room - but that's just me. We only had one meal due to previously made plans, but the Italian food served tapas-style was superb and despite dining elsewhere on the second night, I came back in time for a second go at the dessert menu. The staff were genuinely friendly, enthusiastic and so very good at their jobs. I can't wait to come back, sort of wish we still lived in England!

I recently ate here about a week ago and can't wait to go back! From start to finish the service was attentive, fast and friendly I felt relaxed and comfortable instantly. This i think had alot to do with one pf the staff called mike who went out of his way for us and also very happy! As for the food it truly was the best ive had in a long time, the fungi piZza was amazing and the calamari I would reccommed these to everyone!

Hope to be returning soon, again this place is worth a visit

just arrived back after a 2 night stay at the inn. hubby and I had a lovely large bedroom nice and light, v clean, nice toiletries in bathroom. very warm but soon sorted that with thermostats on radiators, lots of storage , a proper hairdryer (yahoo) not some thing that hangs in the bathroom and I could blow harder than.(pet hate). xtra pillows if you need them only thing I could possibly fault was a hard bed but that is personal preference. we ate in the restaurant (italian tapas) which was very good . you choose between 2 and 4 plates depends on appetite . we were in the area for a wedding and we had 8 in our party there was nothing returned to the kitchen from our table. our adult kids were in single rooms quite small but everything that you needed. staff were lovely, nice welcome from young blonde lady on check in, waiting staff also very nice would definitely stay here again if in the area very handy if you are going to Thornton manor for a wedding.

Room Tip: we were in room four overlooks front of inn - large room.

We spent 1 night at the inn. The room was very clean and tidy with good coffee and teak making facilites and some great biscuits. The staff were very efficient and friendly and the food was excellent value. and of good quality. It is ideally situated for travel into Liverpool or the Wirral

Our second visit to Pesto at the Dibbinsdale Hotel, we went midweek and arrived early so the restaurant was quite quiet and we were shown to a table straight away. We like the slightly eclectic decor and the restaurant has a nice ambience, I guess it has a even nicer feel when the lighting is lower and the table candles are lit. Really enjoyed the food very good quality and the tapas sized portions suit us. Staff are very nice and helpful regarding which choices to make from the menu. Will look forward to a return third visit soon.

We had lunch here a few months ago and it was delicious, then last month we went to Pesto in Liverpool one and it just didn't hit the spot. Not to be disheartened we came back to Bromborough, we ordered several dishes including stuffed peppers and stuffed chicken, we then spent a chilled out afternoon going mmm mmmm mmmm. Wonderful. Service with a smile as well.
