“A lovely lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014 via mobile

I when in to frankie and bennys for lunch with some friends to try the new menu and I was not disappointed, I had the New Jersey chicken and I will definitely be having it again. Quick service even though it was pretty busy and the staff were friendly and helpful

“fathers day blues”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2014

What should have been a nice relaxing meal on father’s day turned out to be a disaster?
We booked by phone well in advance of arriving and arrived at 6.10pm our booked time was 6.15pm
We were greeted in the usual customary manner which was nice, acknowledged staff that we are known to us and we were seated.
At 6.20pm we were asked if we would like to order drinks and starters, where we ordered drinks and garlic bread and dough balls.
Our drinks arrived although wrongly supplied a pint of Budweiser instead of a bottle was remedied immediately.
Shortly after that a large group were seated by us around 12 persons who we were told had arrived on spec and were not booked.
This large group like us was ordering drinks and starters, within a short time of arriving.
At 6.40pm their starters were delivered whilst we sat and waited, and waited.
Up to the point at 6.55 we decided to ask a waitress were our starter were the young lady went to check and then came back and said there has been a mistake but could not offer up a reason.
A rabbit in the head lights springs to mind!
With this we decided to leave and felt very aggrieved in the way we had been dealt with, we did also make our disapproval know to Nikki who is a waitress and a very good member of staff.
She said she would get mike the manager to have a chat.
Well mike although the manager did only blame to tills going down rather than admit it was a managerial error, he did offer some garbled reason but did not sooth our concerns, and we left feeling very upset and hugely disappointed. We would expect any errors with tills or electronics or even human error to not impact on clients, or even at base management levels be spotted that 4 people had been sat with drinks for over 40 minutes would suggest “hello what’s going on there”
To give some background, we over the last few years as a company and a family of 5 have spent thousands of pounds in this restaurant and have always been made to feel welcome.
With this level of attendance we were on first name terms with some of the staff and this has sponsored good service which has always been heavily tipped as a show of respect.
This has always sponsored also return and repeat business both socially and corporate.
Unfortunate it is that on father’s day, we felt like cattle who were just attending to be treated with lacking management skills to satisfy what were regular customers.
This ruined our evening and we will not be attending this restaurant anymore, neither will we be promoting this as a venue for our clients or other family members of friends, we will also be promoting our dissatisfaction on social media sites.
Please also do not further insult us by offering us a shallow free meal for our family.
We will not be attending Frankie and bennies on bromborough again.
On a positive note we did got to ellesmere port and were handles and serviced very professionally on the same night and were done and dusted in 30 minutes. It was a shame that the focus of our discussions as a family unit were about bromborough
Which speaks volumes for the management team for them against bromborough.
A very unhappy father of 3

“A terrible experience”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 June 2014 via mobile

Terrible service and attitude, the food was awful and our deserts which was crumble with custard and
Bourbon cake with ice cream were ice cold.
We complained and they blamed the new polish chefs.
Waited 10 minutes for our new warm deserts to be served but gave up waiting.
Never going back again
The manager needs a kick up the......

“EXCELLENT!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 June 2014 via mobile

I often visit F & B's with my other half, and we have never been dissatisfied.
Yet again, on our most recent visit, the food was excellent, always to a very high standard, and the service brilliant.
On entering the building we are always greeted with smiling faces and nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff.
Big thank you to Diane for looking after us on our last visit. A very enjoyable night was had by us.

Well done F & B's!!! Keep up the good work guys :)
We can't wait to see the new menu.
