This is a sprawling hotel which seems to solely cater for families heading to Legoland. It seems to have sold its soul. We were given a map to find our room (which involved a drive from reception) and still got lost trying to find it. It is not unpleasant and does what it says on the tin but the room was a bit stuffy and everything in the hotel felt a bit unloved and partially thought through. The kids playroom is a prime example. Great idea but it is just an unused conferencing room at the back of the bar with some toys chucked in it!
Pleasant staff.
It is in LHR flight path but then so are most things west of heathrow!
Perfectly adequate for a short family break.

Just had a one night stay as part of our LEGOLAND trip.

It could be so so so much better. The rooms we had (which were interconnecting) were designed for children and adults in a group. Little things could have made our stay better. We were in the "south wing" where I actually thought we were staying in a different county from the hotels reception as it was so far from the reception desk. Unhelpfully we were directed to park at the opposite corner to our room.

The rooms were not brilliant for kids (well ours anyway), they had quite high twin beds and the room also had a very heavy door to the actual room. The receptionist gave us only one card to the room so the kids could have locked themselves in easily. A door wedge would make life a little easier but we did not have one in either room. The kids room had two full height doors to open for ventilation with no kid locks but we had small sized windows in our room with locks!

The double bed in our room was useless, my wife gave up at 4am and used one of the twin beds in the other room whilst swapping a child over.

There is no real room service so turning up at 7pm after a full day at LEGOLAND with two small kids we had no option but to head out for a takeaway as the only "call and collect" option is pizza. A wider range would make life so much easier, would it be really an issue to plate a meal with some foil???

Breakfast in the morning was ok but as there was a full conference at the hotel there were lots and lots of empty areas of the buffet and our kids then got fed up with waiting for a sausage so we ended up with two very tired and grumpy kids. There were lots of staff all of who were very busy but it wasn't until we were leaving we were offered a tea/coffee!!

It took over 8minutes to walk from our room (at the furthest point of the hotel it seemed) to get a drink from the bar that by the time I had walked back I had nearly finished it....

It's ok but there could be so many little things that could have made it better! Come on PH hotels get a family to use a room or two or three times and give you some feedback.... you could easily have made it a 5 from us but just a 3 I am afraid.

Had a Thorpe park weekend planned with the girls and for the price I was expecting some dingy b&b. Place was amazing, couldn't believe how big it was. Lovely rooms, Beautiful grounds. Great gym and pool too. Definitely recommend. Would also make a lovely wedding venue.

The building is so impressive and the rooms are lovely but the place seems to be operating on a budget with all foreign or very young staff who don't really know what they're doing. The indoor pool is like a council swimming pool, it had mouldy tiles and old plasters laying by the pool, no sauna or steam room or anything for adults, changing rooms filthy and in need of upkeep.

The food and drink overpriced for what it is and we got seated in a massive dining room with 4 other couples which was deathly silent, no music just silence and everyone could hear every word you said.. Really weird.

There was a massive wedding at the hotel, someone decided to put us in room directly above the dance floor where we had music so loud our bed and floor was shaking until 1am.. This resulted in us not sleeping at all and it ruining the next day as we were so exhausted, give them their due thought, the duty manager refunded us £96 for the night as it was not fair on us at all and said they just ran out of rooms.

The second night was better, we were moved to a bigger airy room the other end of the hotel and had a good sleep.

I wouldn't come back again because it just doesn't live up to the exterior appearance, the hotel has so much potential but with so much decent competition in Windsor itself, they won't get people coming back unless they sort out their facilities and customer service /prices.

Would not recommend this to anyone, the room was beautiful but had no ventilation or air conditioning , 3 small flights of stairs to get to bed and the tea and coffee facilities were on a table at the bottom of the stairs which meant having to take hot drinks up three flights of stairs. There was no top sheet on the bed just a very warm quilt which was impossible to sleep under as the weekend we stayed it was 32 degrees all weekend. We missed our pre paid for evening meal in the restaurant due to an horrendous traffice hold up ( 4hrs) and we were not offered any kind of alternative despite phoning ahead to let them know our circumstances and the fact that the bar meals were still being served and the kitchens were still open as there were two weddings being catered for. The best they could suggest was either we purchased a meal from the bar even though we had already paid for a three course meal. When I pointed out that I wasn't happy to buy a meal from the bar under the circumsatnces they suggested we order a pizza or drive into windsor to get a something to eat! We were tired and hungry and they could be bothered to show any kind of consideration or customer service. I must admit we were given our money back for the meal we didn't get after the third time of asking on the following morning when finally we got to speak to a manager who was able to make that decision. I expected more of what appeared to be a fairly high end hotel. We would never go back purely because of there total lack of thought and basic customer care. disgraceful!

Room Tip: Don't bother, the location is beautiful but if you want to be treated as a paying guest should b...

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us here on trip advisor.

I was very surprised by your comments about one of our duplex room but I understand that our spilt level rooms are not to everyone's taste.

Our restaurants are open until 10 pm, so I can only apologise that it would appear you arrived after they had closed.

I was pleased to read that all your issues were resolved by one of our managers but I apologise that Beaumont Estate didn't meet with your expectations.

Having just returned from a 3 night stay at the Beaumont Hotel I felt I had to write a review, we couldn't fault the hotel, the breakfast was lovely couldn't fault it, the rooms are clean, staff very helpful and friendly. People complaining about the airport is ridiculous! If you look at where the hotel is it is very obvious you will hear aeroplanes! We had a fan in our room so didn't hear any plans at night. Overall I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

I would describe this hotel as having 'style with no substance'. I would not recommend. Initially place looked amazing, with impressive grounds and beautiful reception area but that's where it ended. Rooms were dank, airless, in need of huge amounts of updating, wonky beds, initial requests not adhered to ie travel cot etc etc. 9/10 staff did not speak English and I mean at all - led to constant confusion and frustration. Even reception staff. Waitress coud not understand us to tell us were the main restaurant was!!!! Spa is a disgusting mess. Yuk. This place is fab if you want to camp in the garden. That's were it ends. Lures people in with impressive website, skilfully taken photos and steep prices. Does not live up to its salubrious surroundings . Very disappointing indeed.

Room Tip: Can't advise. Wouldn't recommend.
