“Great curry...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 October 2011

We enjoyed a great meal at Zaika, The service was attentive; the atmosphere was really good and the food was delicious – as good as any curry I've had in the UK. I wasn't on ultra-hot the night we visited and my lamb Rogon Josh was a triumph of spiciness and beautifully tender meat. We'd definitely eat here again for the food, the value and the atmosphere. Try it, you'll be glad you did.

“An excellent curry evening”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 August 2011

I have no hesitation in endorsing the other comments I have read in relation to this excellent restaurant. Enjoying a curry is very much a personal experience and what suits one may n ot suit another. However, I defy anyone not to enjoy the food at this restaurant.

“Great Food - Fitted us in when really busy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 July 2011

Ate here on Saturday night whilst visiting Milford on Sea, was really busy, but advised to call back in 20 mins and they would have a table for us.
Food was really good, poppadums, 2 starters, 2 curries, 2 naan's, rice, Pastachio Kulfi, bottle house wine and 2 coffee's for £45, really good value.
Would eat there again if visiting the area.

“Best Indian in the area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 February 2011

Best Indian eat in/takeaway in the area. Run by the friendliest people who are always more than accommodating. Have been there on multiple occasions ans d have ALWAYS been impressed and more than satisfied with the quality of the food.

Try this place once and you'll make it your regular!

“Very average food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 February 2011

Two of us visited the Zaika on a Sunday evening. The staff were helpful and friendly and the poppadums fresh. Unfortunately the main course did not live up to expectations, the chicken tikka in my Jalfrazi and my Wife's dish was sliced very thinly and showed no real evidence of being traditionally marinated breast. The sauces on both dishes were overly sweet.
Finally the waiter seemed very reluctant to return the £5 change appearing to assume he could take this as a tip without giving us the option.
