Took lunch their with my wife and two frinds on a cold October day with a windw seat overlooking the Needles and Christchurch Bay.
The Chilean saivignon blanc was delicious and at less than £15 a bottle we managed to get through two.
The lunch menu was very varied. Three of us started with belly of pork with black pudding (delicious) and one had squid. The steak which followed was well prepared as was the whole plaice and breaded hake. Really no room left for desserts bur my wife and I shared one which tasted so good we wished that we had taken one each.

In summary a very good place to eat on your day out at the beach.

An amazing view from the roof top terrace looking towards Purbeck Hills, Isle of Wight or
looking into the New Forest.
The food was superb and good value for money.

This is such a good place for a romantic meal and for breakfast too. We had excellent food both in the evening and then we went back in the morning for breakfast. The views are amazing and you can go for a walk by the sea. It's privately owned and the owner came to chat to us which we really appreciated.

When we are on holiday in the Milford-on-sea area, we always make a point of visiting this lovely restaurant. This year we had Sunday Lunch and an Evening Meal, and both were up to the usual high standard. The lamb chops dish I experienced in the evening was memorable, in that the lamb was so perfectly cooked, that it melted in my mouth. I can't wait to come back next year!

The food we had was pretty good, but place not doing much business both times we were there. Possibly better advertising we didn't realise where it was until we were almost on it. More signs and of a better quality, It is stuck out on it's own so needs something special to make people want to make the effort.
