Called in after a walk to Hurst Castle. The roof terrace beckoned as the sun was out, the whole place has been given a make over so spent a lovely relaxing Sunday afternoon watching the yachts go by, eating a lovely meal, what more could you ask for. Will be back there soon.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner and we're happy to see the roof terrace was open. We had a lovely meal up in the sun, despite the breeze! The staff were very friendly and the view and surroundings were excellent! Food was good too

We popped in for a drink on the way back along the beach front. Decided to check out the roof terrace - what stunning views! We could see as far as Old Harry Rocks to the west and The Solent to the East and right opposite across The Solent was the Isle of Wight and the Needles. Has to be one of the best locations for a drink on the south coast. The restaurant was nicely presented and staff friendly. Will definitely go again when next down that way.

We (a couple) called into The Marine on a Sunday lunchtime and on entering found a well kept and patronised bar and "beach cafe". By following the signs to the first floor we entered an extremely attractive restaurant with panoramic views of the bay through a semi-circular wall fully glazed from floor to ceiling.

From being taken to our table to leaving the service was faultless.

The menu was short but the fixed price lunch put an intrigueing twist on each dish.
We chose to move away from the traditional roast beef and to take mixed seafood (salmon, scallops and prawns) with crushed new potatoes and this proved a great decision.
My dessert, strawberry and elderberry jelly with sorbet was a perfect end.

And the starters were just as good!

The meal had the French hallmark of eating a full three course meal yet rising from the table to leave without the overfed feeling.

Don't be put off by the location, find it and enjoy.

What a nice, well presented place.. Food is great, staff and service are perfect. Pricing is good for quality and location. Would defiantly go back and recommend to anyone else. Can't fault this place.. Can get quite busy but that's as it's such a great place.. A nice setting on the beach so even worth popping in for a drink.
