Booked to stay at the Red Lion in Milford on Sea as we were travelling down from Surrey to go to La Perle restaurant. What a great pub with three b&b rooms, the family that own it were all lovely, very down to earth and welcoming. the rooms were spotless and I say this as my sister is a clean freak and even she commented on it !!! The breakfast was really good quality and it was all worth the really reasonable b & b price. Would recommend to anyone who needs either a room or a nice pub to go to. We didn't eat in the pub in the evening but the food looked and smelt great. Pop in if your near the New Forest.

We dropped in on the off chance of a room for the evening - what a delightful place, which was friendly and accomodating. Excellent room, with good shower, and all spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a feast, served promptly on arrival in the dining room, but not hurried. I would reccomend this as a place to stay, as the service was fantastic.

Over the past 2 months 19 of us have had two brilliant evenings at The Red Lion celebrating our birthdays. What a smashing couple now run it. They are very welcoming, friendly and obliging, nothing is too much trouble for them. Good food, drinks & clean premises. If they had had enough B&B rooms, I am sure we we would all have stayed the night! Good luck to them both, they deserve it.

Went to The Red Lion to celebrate 2 birthdays this week. Welcomed by the lovely log fire and the Grieves family. Our dog was very happy being fed numerous 'figgy rolls' from the dog treat jar located on the bar.
Had fish and chips, delicious and good sized portion served on piping hot plate. A friend had steak which he said was also very good. Followed by Apple pie and crumble, spot on. And very reasonably priced.
Excellent G&T and cider, not sure about the pear shots though!!
Looking forward to some better weather so we can go back and enjoy the south facing garden too.
Thankyou Red Lion for looking after us, we'll be back soon.

We have had Sunday lunch at the Red Lion on 3 occasions now, with our 2 dogs, who are always made very welcome, and they look forward to the dog biscuits they get from the Landlord and staff. We are always made very welcome, and the food and service is excellent, nothing is too much trouble. We will make it our regular Sunday lunch treat. Well done to everyone at the Red Lion.

We had lunch here last Sunday, we both had the Sunday roast £10 each for 2 courses. We had the beef and it was fantastic, the service was brilliant both with the food and the landlord and bar staff also. Then we had the best afternoon listening to Roger on the piano with great company of the locals in the red lion. We will be going back here again. Thank you to all at the red lion
