This is a great campsite. Excellent amenities clean and well maintained. A good sized shop with very friendly staff. Bonus of free pass to Shorefields holiday park where you can use facilities such as swimming pool indoor and outside and club house with good entertainment.
I took all three grandchildren here for camping and we all felt very safe and comfortable. They enjoyed the children's play area and the play equipment too. I would strongly recommend this site.

I booked a very last minute "tent for rent" having been let down by another holiday venue. We took our grandsons for their first camping experience. The tent was equipped with all we needed and despite heavy overnight rain we experienced no problems at all. The site was excellent - quiet, clean and friendly. The grandsons had a great time. I couldn't fault any aspect at all (unless you are looking for night clubs and designer clothing shops) the small shop on site had all of the essentials and the sister site was good.
Surpassed my expectations.

We spent just 2 nights over last weekend at this campsite. It is very simple, but very nicely laid out.

On first impression it feels a little like the pitches are all quite close together but for us, they were just large enough and spaced out enough to remain private. We had a pitch at the bottom of the site so we had the privacy of not having anyone behind us. The downside was the pitch was on a bit of a slope but this was no real issue.

Everyone staying there seemed very nice and people were very respectful of being quiet after about 10.30, other than the odd crying baby in the night but that can't be helped.

All staff were incredibly friendly which was very pleasant.

The shop was well stocked and reasonably priced.

Shower blocks were clean and showers were VERY good. In our experience there was never any queues for them.

It was great that we were able to use the facilities of nearby Shorefield Park, especially as the weather was so nice when we were there. My only complaint is that the description on the Lytton Lawn website of "ask the staff on Reception for the beautiful woodland cycle route" is very misleading. Yes, there is a path through the woods but you have to go on the road for about a mile first, then there are some signs on the woodland in question saying 'no cycling' and if you decide to walk instead the route is very unclear as there are a maze of paths, no signs and no map. In all honesty, this was a very small inconvenience and didn't spoil our overall enjoyment of our stay at Lytton Lawn at all.

we will go back for sure.

Room Tip: Ask for a pitch at the bottom of the campsite by the stream with as little a slope as possible.

stayed at this site in July 2014 for a week with my partner in our caravan it was amazing site with everything we needed, the sister site has got two amazing swimming pools, with very clean changing rooms which are family cubicles me and my girlfriend was impressed with this as it was easier together. the sauna, spa bath and Jacuzzi was great. didn't have time for the bar but next time we will definitely try. the site facilities are very clean, shop is stacked full with everything you need, staff was very friendly and helpful. have recommended Lytton lawn to all my friends and family and myself and my partner will be returning again next month once we have booked it up.

Have just returned from first visit to this site and we stayed for two nights in a tent on a serviced pitch. When we arrived it was so busy we couldn't quite see our pitch however it was tucked up near the toilet block and we soon set up. It was great to be near the toilets but you have to be prepared for everyone to walk past you all the time to reach them! The pitch was big enough for our tent and gazebo although you pay extra for this privilege. During the first night the men's toilet door creaked every time someone used the facilities which made sleeping a little difficult. However after mentioning it the following morning we had no bother the second night so thanks must go to the warden for sorting that out! We stayed late on the last day as 10 am seemed very early to pack up and leave. To do this you pay 1/2 the cost of a night on the site for an extra 6 hours. We felt this was really steep after having paid quite a high fee for staying at the campsite and paying extra for a gazebo. Still having said that we liked the site, it felt safe and our son played happily with other children. Would definitely return.

Room Tip: Ask for a serviced pitch around the outside of the field and then you won't have people walking...

Just got back from another 4 night stay under canvas. We were here about two years ago and everything was excellent just as it was the first time we came. The site is clean and tidy with generous pitches and wonderfully clean facilities. We are a family of five with a dog so we were not able to use the Shorefield facilities, but that was no big issue for us. The site was busy but there was no noise after about 10-10.30pm. If you want wifi, just take a wander up to the play area/games room and sit on the bench outside and you're up and running. The shop is open from 8.30am and stocks most of what you need at reasonable prices, but if you need to do a big shop there is a large Tesco a couple of miles up the road. There is a lot to see and do around the area. We can highly recommend Hurst Castle and Burley where there is a river for the kids (and dog) to paddle in. For a nice meal, try the Gun Inn at Keyhaven or The Smugglers Inn, in MIlford itself. If I had any complaints at all, it would be the showers. Don't get me wrong, there is ample hot water but it would be nice to be able to adjust the temperature. We had exceptionally hot weather (28-30c) and I would have sold my kids for a cold shower.

In fairness, that is my only issue and even that isn't a big problem, more of a niggle. At least we had a dry holiday which, for the UK, can be a rarity.

See you next year.

This site is clean and well maintained, the facilities are good. It's location is a short drive from the beach and village centre. The pitches are a decent size and the electric hook up was handy. This site is very good for families and the site is popular. The extra benefit is the free entry to all the leisure facilities at the sister site a few miles away where we used the sauna, steam and jacuzzi. Children can use the swimming pool, there are tennis courts etc. from the site you can get to hurst castle via the beach or boat trip from Keyhaven. Good village pubs and restaurants.
