Tucked away just off the central area in Milford on Sea (a delightful little town, in itself), you will find this quirky/'shabby chic' bistro. There are a variety of seating options comprising booths, small tables and larger tables, some in the restaurant window, others at the back in a raised area.
There is an interesting area outside with tables and seating, and a 'cabin' for relaxing on warm days/evenings.
The food is bistro type...pizzas, burgers, rib eye steak, chicken puttanesca (served delightfully on a wooden platter in a cast iron pan), fish of the day, moules and always some 'specials.' There are some lovely sharing type dishes to start your meal (babaganoush/houmous/olives)
Service was tricky on the night we were there as they were extremely busy, but they were aware of our long wait for the main course and offered deserts 'on the house,' which was a welcome gesture.
A lovely place for family young and old, and for delicious food. We all ate well but did not suffer from that feeling of over indulgence which can sometimes follow after food is too rich, or of poor quality. It was delicious, light and easy to digest. The menus are well formulated.
