This is a great pub in the centre of Milford with a large carpark and another paying carpark nearby. We popped in there recently for a lunchtime sandwich but then found they serve smaller portions of some of their main meals which was ideal. There was still plenty to eat and it was well cooked. Lovely clean pub with friendly staff and if you park in the public carpark it is just a short walk afterwards to get to the coast and walk off all the calories again.ill definately visit again.

This busy pub is located in the heart of the village so is very easy to access, with a large car park. As there is not much else open on a Monday, we went here for dinner. There is a large standard menu, but we all had something from the Specials board. The food was good and served in large portions, with plenty of vegetables to share. The bar was reasonably busy but the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The pub was packed so we unfortunately didn't get to eat here, however we stopped by after lunch elsewhere to have a drink and was welcomed into a cozy, warm atmosphere and stayed until closing on new years day! Very good Pinot Grigo and not too pricey for such a nice place.

Will be coming back (to eat this time!)

Today we stopped by The Smugglers to have a relaxing Sunday lunch after a long walk along the cliff tops (5 minutes away).

The pub itself was busy, which is always a good sign! The staff were excellent finding us a lovely table by the fire and fetching us some drinks. The Smugglers Inn is set in a lovely building with excellent character and beautiful traditional features.

We decided to both go for the lasagne, which was incredible! Lots of salad and chips to go with it!!

Good job we went for the walk before, because we couldn't move after!!

A true British pub, we would both highly recommend it!

Thank Chris S

We enjoyed our visit to the Smugglers - good atmosphere, beer and wine excellent and the food was pretty tasty on balance. I had the fish special (sea bass) which came with rosti potato, a delicious sauce and roasted cherry tomatoes. I really would have liked more rosti potato and some vegetables as I went home still hungry (didn't fancy any of the desserts on offer). My other half had rack of lamb which would have been better served pre-carved rather than served in one lump. I couldn't have eaten it because there was more fat on it than lean meat, but he enjoyed it and had plenty of veg, nicely cooked - so he was happy. On balance, good value for money and good food served with good cheer and in a professional manner. We will definitely return when next in the area.
