“Comfortable for three generations.”

The Summer house is centrally placed in Milford, within a couple of minutes walk of 3 pubs, a bar, restaurants and cafes, a fish and chip shop, two mini-supermarkets, chemist, post office and more. Being off the main street it is quiet. It is a modern house so not in any way picturesque and the church car park is not the best of views but as a base for the New Forest, Christchurch Bay and walks to the sea it was very good. The house was clean and comfortable with everything that 6 of us and two dogs could need during our week. The ground floor bedroom was a comfort for our bungalow-dwellers.
Suzanne's communication was good and the booking process, through Trip Advisor, was straightforward.

“Lovely comfortable property that suited 3 generations”

Great house, pleasantly furnished. Good position in the village, with various shops and pubs. 5 minute walk to the beach, easy access to Chichester and surrounding areas. Ground floor facilities suitable for somebody with limited mobility.

“Great location and lovely home”
Reviewed 22 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We were 6 adults and 1 baby. The house was very well equipped in all aspects...apart from towels not provided.

Location is great...just a few mins walk from the sea and lots of pubs and restaurants nearby.

The only negatives were that the floorboards in the room on top of the downstairs bedroom were really loud and creaky.

And the rug in the living room is very dirty...full of hairs and fluff so i had to keep a close eye on my baby as she was crawling around.

It was nice that we each had our own bathroom.

Also the house is very warm so you don't need to use the heating.

We had a great stay here.

Glad you had a great stay & found the house had everything you needed. The rug has now been removed & replaced I appreciate you letting me know.
We use to provide bath towels, but found they weren't being used by guests, as they preferred to bring their own. So just provide hand towels & tea towels now. Thank you for your feed back.

“Excellent cottage, beautiful location with easy access to all amenities”
Reviewed 11 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Just spent 5 nights in Milford on Sea. Suzanne and Spencer the owners were really friendly and provided clear directions on how to get there. The cottage was lovely and homely, bright, clean and very well equipped. 2 minutes walk to village green and 5-10 minutes walk to beach. Close to The Smugglers - a friendly traditional pub, The Cave, a great find - wine bar serving tapas and fantastic selection of gins / whiskies etc, seemed a really popular place! The village has good selection of cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes along with some pretty antigue shops. Great for walks out along the coast and nature reserve and so close to the New Forest, will visit again hopefully when the weather is a little better! Tried Western style riding at Burley Villas Riding school - 15 mins drive away - lots of fun. Totally recommended.

“A perfect property in an ideal location”
Reviewed 7 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

This is a clean and comfortable property with everything you need for a break near the coast. It is quiet yet close to good local shops and restaurants. It is a second visit for me but I would happily return again. Plenty of good walks locally but much to do further afield.

Just spent an amazing weekend in the summer house Milford on sea, the house is lovely, home from home, everything you need for your holiday and dog friendly too. Walking distant to all amenities, the smugglers in does lovely food and great Sunday roasts. Lovely walk down to the beach. Will definitely recommend and hopefully will come back again.

“Light and spacious modern property in a central location and lovely village”

Lovely central but quiet place to stay in a village blessed with great places to eat, drink and shop, a short walk to the beach and cliff walks, and nice walks around local nature reserve towards Keyhaven. The 1st floor restaurant at The Marine on the seafront is well worth a visit for a special experience. Also the Britannia Thai Restaurant and The Rack Bistro serve good food in a pleasant and friendly environment. The Sunday guided walk around Milford-on-Sea provides an interesting insight into the history of this special village.
