Nice welcome including coffee and cakes in the conservatory . Mark and Sarah were very pleasant and took time to explain in depth everything we needed.
Lovely garden which was so peaceful.
Very clean and tastefully furnished. Bedroom large with four poster bed.
The cooked breakfast was locally sourced with a variety of options. A lot of choices of quality fresh fruits and cereals.
Could not fault and ideal for a number of good local restaurants.

We stayed at the Bay Trees on our first nights arrival in the area. Mark and Sarah we welcoming and showed us around the residence highlighting the various facilities such as the breakfast room, garden etc. Also Mark informed and made us aware of the action to be taken in an event of a fire.

The room was clean, bright and well furnished, the bathroom was fantastic and had a beautiful shower and bath. The bed was soft and very comfortable.

The next morning we attended Breakfast, their was a very good selection of cereals, fruits and Yoghurts, the cooked breakfast we well presented and very ample indeed.

We the left the Bay Trees and checked into another local B&B, however the standard of service and hospitality was such that that we longed to return to the Bay Trees. We were able to book and check in for our final night stay at the Bay Trees and again we were treated to home made Lemon Drizzle and Chocolate Walnut cake upon our arrival.

We enjoyed our stay so much and Mark and Sarah are so warm, attentive and friendly people who welcome you into their house, they have a unique and friendly way of providing a service which i have not seen for such a long time.

I cannot recommend the Bay Trees enough, we have told our families and friends and we plan to return to the New Forest next month, the choice of stay will definitely be the Bay Tree B&B, due to exceptional service, friendliness and just very nice friendly welcoming people who make the effort to care for you whilst you stay.

Thank you Mark and Sarah.

Room Tip: We stayed in Two rooms, both were amply equipped and serviced.

We had booked to stay in the area at a other B&B for two nights. However deciding to go a day earlier we needed to find somewhere to stay as the other was booked. How luckily were we as The Bay Trees was simply many notches above the other. So much so that we had the opportunity to stay in the area one more night, this rested on if we could get back into The Bay Trees I was so pleased they had a room for us, so we left the other and went back to The Bay Trees for our final night.

Tea and homemade cakes on arrival just set things of to a great start.
Both the rooms were clean and great attention to detail with even things like lovely bath salts for you to use. With little treats left for the quests such as sherry and some chocolate. Just made you feel cared for and cared about.

I never felt anything but welcome and at ease there, even little Jasper the dog was a delight and just made the stay far more homely .

I can honestly say that the breakfast was outstanding, high quality yogurts, cereals and fresh fruit salads, cooked fresh fruits, dried fruits and seeds. You also had a choice of cooked breakfast which was divine, fresh coffee and a large selection of teas as well as toast all provided at your wishes. It’s the thought behind providing such good breakfasts with the top end of the range ingredients that add to the feeling of personal service. Its very apparent that Sarah and Mark care greatly and are very passionate about the service they provide ... Already planning a return visit.

Everything about the Bay Trees is perfect. The warm welcome on arrival and the superb hospitality throughout really made our stay. The well equipped and spacious room was lovely as was the superb garden. A great place to sit and chat on a sunny day. The delicious breakfast was made with quality produce. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. Milford on sea is a lovely place and an excellent base for a visit to the New Forest. We will definitely be visiting again and staying at the Bay Trees.

Returning to the UK recently I searched long and hard for somewhere to stay in the area my husband and I called home 12 years ago. We had dinner at The Bay Trees many years ago when it was a restaurant and were very pleased to see that the property had been reincarnated as a B&B. Mark & Sarah are wonderful hosts, we felt very welcome, as if we had known them for years. The accommodation is charming and the breakfast outstanding. I could not have been happier with my choice and highly recommend.

We have known Sarah and Mark for over twenty years, as they both had successful careers in demanding jobs outside the Bed and Breakfast business. They have always been very hospitable in organising social events at their home, and when they suddenly announced in August 2011 that they were taking over The Bay Trees we felt that it would be an ideal new venture for them, as they thoroughly enjoy making people feel at ease. We stayed last week, accompanied by our mother/mother-in-law, who was provided with an ideal downstairs room. The guest house has been lovingly modernised, with very tastefully-decorated rooms and furniture and pictures etc carefully acquired to blend in with the house and its setting. The breakfast room is the conservatory which looks out towards a tranquil and delightful garden including five hens who produce the eggs which are served at breakfast. All food is sourced locally, and the village has several excellent pubs and restaurants; we particularly liked the Smuggler's Arms. There are many excellent individual and thoughtful touches, including home-made biscuits and a sherry decanter in the bedrooms, individually-produced breakfasts, cooked to guests' requirements on the Aga, and leaflets and umbrellas to borrow, to enable the maximum use to be made of the local area, regardless of the weather. Mark and Sarah's new puppy, a mischievous golden spaniel, joined the household a few weeks ago, and he is very welcoming and entertaining. Their loyal cat celebrated her sixteenth birthday during our stay. We would recommend trying to book well in advance; we stayed from Monday to Friday, as it was clear that the establishment is likely to be very popular for weekend stays.

Room Tip: The downstairs Garden Room is ideal for people who prefer level access facilities. We stayed in a r...

We looked at staying at the Bay Trees last year but it was fully booked. So pleasantly surprised to see Sarah and Mark had a room available when I called last month. Confirmed by phone with Sarah that we were over the Isle of Wight and getting the ferry back to Lymington and she remembered that I had covered that off in our earlier phone call so obviously well organised. Very nice welcome on arrival and shown to our room which was lovely. gave us some great advice as to where to eat and this was important given it was a Sunday evening. A long day for us may have meant that we would have had a good night's sleep but we certainly rested well and both had the luxury of a bath that evening. Up for breakfast the following morning to meet the other guests and enjoy the breakfast. You can see why they have won the Breakfast Award and the New Forest Marque too. It was really enjoyable and a good start to the day. Mark then showed us his modest train collection in the garden shed before the other half got distracted playing with someone in the garden for about half an hour. More good advice as to our morning's stroll and a bar of chocolate (in case we got peckish - hardly likely!) sent us on our way. We hope to return. It was a real pleasure to find a nice B&B in the New Forest. We used to go to the Cottage Hotel in Brockenhurst for years but after the owners (who we got to know very well left, we didn't go back) so it is great to have a lovely case in this beautiful part of the world.

Room Tip: We stayed in the very spacious and comfortable Blue Room. Was the only one available but think we wo...
