“Lovely cottage, beautiful location, Scottish west coast is awesome”

Cottage is great for two adults or small family - not really large enough for 4 adults.
Well designed, decorated and most things available.TV signal not great - but who wants TV in such a beautiful setting. Cottage literally five minutes walk from the most beautiful beaches, 10 minutes drive to Mallaig - GREAT fish shop - Andy Race, ferry to Skye etc. Ferry to Mull is a little further - 11/2 hours - but DON'T miss the trip, Mull is beautiful and shouldn't be missed.
Great visit, why do the English go to Spain????

Liked best: Quality of cottage and location
Liked least: Nowhere to eat - the kitchen unit needs a table top to sit at or a separate table and chairs

“Fantastic cottage in beautiful area of Scotland”

We had a fantastic stay at Raasay Cottage, despite some pretty heavy rain. The cottage is ideally situated, close to Mallaig and Arasaig and a stones throw from beautiful white sand beaches.

Zoe and Angus made everything so easy, including a great welcome pack, communication and everything you could need in the cottage. The bed was luxurious after long days of adventures and the fire was perfect for cozying up next to with a game of monopoly.

It was great to explore a new part of Scotland and to have a warm home-away-from-home to come back to in the evenings.

“Wonderful Luxury Cottage...”

My wife, 3 year old son and I enjoyed a weeks stay at this cottage in October. The cottage is finished to a very high standard, clean and well maintained and truly felt like a home form home

Everything required for your stay is supplied all you need to bring is clothes and food, and even then there is fresh bread, milk and shortbread waiting for you on your arrival.

The owners also supply an information pack for the the local area, which whenever I needed to know something, always seemed to have the answer I was looking for.

Mallaig is a matter of minutes away where we took advantage of the local ferries and train station. This is also where the local supermarket is. A very well stocked co-op.

Within a five minute walk of the cottage, literally across the road and over the wee hill, is one of the most picturesque beaches I have ever seen. Silver sand and rocky outcrops. Truly breathtaking. Even in late October we couldn't resist building a few sandcastles.

If you have a young family a drive to Kilchoan offers a ferry to Balamory, I mean Tobermory on the Isle of mull. This is well worth the drive even though 20+ miles of the road is single track!

Perhaps the best bit however is snuggling up at night in front of the TV with the log fire burning away!
