This B&B is on a pretty road with a nice view from the rooms of the river. The hotel décor could do with sprucing up a little. Our room had no double glazing and the heating seems to come on randomly which may be a problem in winter but the furniture, free WiFi and the large LCD TV in the room are very good features and the room was also a decent size with very comfortable mattress and pillows. Ensuite bathroom was very clean but is very dated; shower wasn’t great with very little pressure but otherwise does the job. Breakfast was good and ticked all the boxes; their veggie sausages are the best I’ve tasted! Dinner was very very good at a very reasonable price. Staff were also helpful and friendly. Location wise it’s fairly easy to get to most of the local sites by car although we did spot very pretty villages nearby which would be our preferred option if returning to the area.
