There is not much choice in Milford Haven. The Lord Nelson is OK if you're looking for convenience to the railway, marina, docks, etc, and you want to stay in the town itself. The rooms are fine, but the rest of the hotel looks and feels like they haven't quite got their act together. Reasonably priced for what it is but there are better offerings in Pemrokeshire if you don't need to be in Milford. We would use it again, but only because from time-to-time we need a room in the town.

Very enjoyable stay. Excellent room, good breakfast and very helpful staff. This was one of the best places we stayed on our walk along the coastal path. We didn't eat here in the evening but the breakfast service and food was very good. Although our room was on the front of the hotel the street noise at night was not a problem at all. Recommend you choose this place to stay.

One night stay in nice spacious room in 2nd floor . There is the bar and restaurant on the Ground Floor where we had lunch and evening meal which was good value. The staff were courteous and efficient . The breakfast was well cooked especially the poached eggs !

Stayed in a family room on saturday 22 june as we attending a 40th birthday party.
The room was of a decent size as we had our 2 young children with us as and was a good price. The down side of the room was the stained sheet and towels which in this day in age is unacceptable.
The staff were friendly but the breakfast the next morning was poor.
Would probably give this hotel another chance in the future but there are a few issues they need to sort out.

Arrived and the hotel room was clean but showing signs of wear.
The breakfast the following morning was poor. I had the full breakfast but poached egg was awful and the tomato was so hard it could not be sliced. Coffee was weak and choice is poor.

The shower in the room is not powerful but the bed was comfortable.

Noise is a problem if you want an early night as music can be heard throughout the building till at least 11pm

Room Tip: Pick a different hotel.. many more options in this region
