If you are looking for a comfortable country retreat with easy parking at the door, sparkling clean, comfortable rooms, excellent facilities and gracious hosts, Ridgeway Lodge ticks all the boxes.
We stayed for 3 nights in May and used Ridgeway as a base for visiting Bekonscot Model Village, Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital and for just touring around the beautiful countryside checking out the picturesque and quaint locations that we had fallen in love with on the Midsomer Murder Series.
The B and B rooms have a separate entrance to the main house and we stayed in the upstairs studio which has its own private staircase. It was lovely and spacious, well appointed and had beautiful rural views.
There is a comfortable guests' sitting room with a bookcase full of information about the local area and beyond, and a kitchenette where guests can prepare simple meals.
Miv and John are friendly, helpful hosts and made us so very welcome. Miv's breakfasts are delicious and we enjoyed the opportunity to chat with Miv, John and other guests over breakfast.
Can recommend the White Hart Pub at nearby Beaconsfield for fantastic pub food!
We were so comfortable at Ridgeway Lodge that we were sorry to leave. Highly recommended.

I had a one night business stay at this beautiful B&B. Gardens & views amazing. Miv & John were very welcoming - tea & chocolate cake awaiting my arrival :)
I stayed in the annex which was very comfortble with a clean & modern en-suite.
Breakfast was super, offered lots of toast & tea with my english breakfast.
Will hopefully be visiting again with my family

Nicely out in the countryside, but within walking distance of Princes Risborough. Comfy and friendly - excellent breakfast. Use of kitchenette very handy for doing some self-catering. Happy to accept walkers and cyclists (with somewhere secure to store bike). Only problems was that another guest, being over zealous with 'security' locked me out! (not the owner's fault) but I was soon let in.

Everything was just right and more - lovely owners, great breakfast, welcome tea and cake, comfortable rooms and beautiful views. We would love to go back if we visit that part of the world.

Although only here for one night, we would liked to have stayed longer. Beautiful, tranquil surroundings with views over the orchard and countryside beyond our bedroom, with en suite bathroom. Guests enjoy a comfortable sitting room/breakfast room that is well stocked with local information and books, and looks out on to the garden. A separate entrance for guests and hallway with boot tray for walkers is a thoughtful addition. Miv's delicious breakfast was beautifully prepared and we enjoyed her home made preserves. We'd love to come back to stay and perhaps walk some of the Ridgeway Path.
