“Beautiful!”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

Paddle when the waves are low, get wet when the waves crash! A beautiful beach, with a lovely picturesque harbour at the west end, and absolutely safe child friendly area within the harbour. I'm biased, because I grew up here, but I still love it to bits. Please visit.

“Beautiful unspoilt beach.”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

Beautiful unspoilt beach. Very clean public toilets nearby. There's a lovely walk from Portknockie and the Bow Fiddle Rock along the coast to this beach, then back along the old railway line. You can divert through Cullen town for a good coffee at the Rockpool Cafe. All very lovely. Watch out for the jellyfish if paddling or swimming though.

“Gorgeous beach”
Reviewed 20 May 2014 via mobile

Although I wouldn't fancy swimming here due to the cold water I'm always happy to walk on this safe & beautiful beach & have a paddle. It is well worth it to park your car & have a bracing walk along this beautiful, clean & totally unspoiled stretch of beach. If you've brought Fido he too can enjoy himself on the beach - just ease remember to bring a plastic bag to pick up & safely dispose of any little or perhaps not so little Fido accidents

Plenty seaweed sticks and shells, splashing rock pool for my dog. Lovely sand and beach finds for my craft work.

“(Half) Mile of Sand..”
Reviewed 25 April 2014

Lovely long sandy beach once past the golf clubhouse. At low tide you can walk to the headland with caves to explore. Nearer to the car park the beach is pebbly and great for finding sea-glass. It just needs a beachfront café that is open longer hours.
