We were a group of 5 people on the way back to Syracuse after a beautiful full day in the near hills and finally down to the Riviera. We casually found the restaurant, and it was time to dinner. Any meal is "Outstanding" but i suggest if you get there, a selection among the fishes of the day or the superb "Pasta con le Sarde". Enjoy !

We went to this restaurant on a busy Saturday evening without a reservation and we were given a table and served promptly. We were recommended the restaurant by the owner of the villa we rented and we liked it so much we returned a second time. The decor is modern and clean and the staff are very courteous. The food is lovely with a vast pizza menu which is baked in a stone oven. The spaghetti al nero di seppia must be my favourite and the Planeta wine is one to try.

This restaurant was recommended by the owner of the villa we had rented near Santa Croce. Set one street back in Marina di Ragusa with no view of the sea, this is a serious eating establishment. Large and brightly lit, it was full of locals - family groups with children, young couples, older people - all enjoying excellent straight-forward Sicilian fare at very reasonable prices. Normally we would not go to this sort of restaurant - too noisy, too bright - but we were very glad we did, and returned a second time, as the welcome was very friendly (we were the only foreigners on both occasions) and the head waiter spoke good english. Crisp white table linen. We enjoyed the pasta - fettucine alla pesce with funghi was particularly good - amazing pizzas and enormous calzone. With two bottles of excellent wine recommended by the head waiter, our bill for five people came to Euros 109! La Falena and Lido Azzurro Da Serafino (see my review) were the two restaurant in Marina di Ragusa we enjoyed the most and strongly recommend.

This restaurant is located at the edge of the town but don't be put off by the walk. The food and service are second to none in the area and the prices are fair. Of course the fish is recommended. Always ask the price of the fish before ordering. There's no view to behold....it's the food you go there for.

Food and service very acceptable but by no means spectacularly so. Mussels were above average but then the mixed platter was of mixed quality. Parts were great but others a bit disappointing
The waiters very cordial and helpul even with choice of wine.
