Very comfortable for 2 people but can accommodate up to 4. Spacious open living/ kitchen space with dining table, extending into front porch with table st and BBQ. Good size bedroom with comfortable bed- very important to me as I have back problems. Bathroom was smallish but still we had no problem with that. Apartment is equipped with kitchen utensils of all kind- suitable for everyday cooking, cleaning stuff, washing machine, AC, iron, hair dryer, fan in the bedroom, TV+ cable- all Italian though, WiFi, microwave - all you may need for normal living. We were also welcomed with " food starter pack"- water, coffee, some breakfast essentials- Italian style, pasta and tomato sauce- that was very kind- very nice touch. We were met by Luca on our arrival and he showed us around- he speaks very reasonable English so that saved the day as our Italian kind of sucks :-). You need to be prepared to pay your deposit on arrival in cash. It is returned to you on the last day.
The beach is within 5 minutes walk- as the closest one-just 30 sec walk down the street- is not very nice. But it was a perfect place to watch fireworks for the end of summer celebrations in Marina di Ragusa- and they were absolutely great and went on and on and on.
We went in Sep so there was plenty of space to park a car but I can imagine in high season it might be tricky, so you might need to park little further from you gate. There is a baker on the next street- a minute walk- they bake daily- very convenient. On the roundabout near by-2-3 min walk there is a fresh fruit/veg stand- we loved it. There's also few essential supply supermarket or even 2 and a restaurant/bar. Easy to drive to Marina di Ragusa and Punta Seca - if you are like me a Montalbano fan.
There are mosquitoes around so bring your sprays/plug ins and there were ants as well- but only if you left any food even tiny bit lying around- so if cleaning after eating and not leaving food around is not your thing it might get out of control. There was an ant spray provided.
Generally we had a lovely 2 weeks there and we are grateful to Luca and Maria Rosa for all their help- good job guys.
