This winery has a great view and the white and sparkling wines we tried we excellent. In other words, the making of a great wine tasting experience.
However, the waitress brought all 10 glasses of wine for each of us to try at the same time. The first two were enjoyable, but after fifteen minutes the 60ml in each glass had become outdoor temperature (25 degrees Celcius) and pretty gross.
When we said that this wasn’t a great way to serve wine, the waitress said that she didn’t have time to serve each table individual glasses (of course, they could be brought by category or in small batches). At no point did our section get anywhere close to busy.
The food was pretty awful, overripe tomatoes and so-so octopus. A shame, it could be great.More
