When you travel to Mendoza, Argentina's wine country, you want to see vineyards with the Andés as a backdrop. Entre Cielos is the perfect place for all of your senses. Your eyes will enjoy being flanked by vineyards and olive grooves, overlooking a serene pool and the Andés to the west. I was fortunate enough to be at this hotel for the largest full moon I've ever seen in my life. Breathtaking. The Turkish hamam, which was included in my stay, was a new but amazingly relaxing experience for me. Entre Cielos has beautiful landscaping around their property and delicious food in their restaurants. Their service may be the best I've experienced anywhere in the world. They made me feel so welcome, that I didn't want to leave; I stayed an extra day.

While you could stay on property and feel like you hadn't missed anything Mendoza has to offer, the hotel is located in the heart of wine country. I walked around one day past vineyard after vineyard. This hotel is located near some smaller towns on the edge of Mendoza. Nearby there is a plaza, shopping, amazing Gourmet dining (try Nadia's, reservation required), and a lovely church. I preferred this location to bustling Mendoza proper.

Entre Cielos is a new place. You should stay here before the secret is out and you can't get a room.

My wife and i stayed 3 nights at Entre Cielos in Early April. If this place were in Napa, it would cost you $1500/night.
This place is the most relaxing hotel/resort/place i have ever stayed. You are waited on hand and foot by the remarkable staff. The rooms are extremely quiet and comfortable. You will feel like you are the only ones at the place.
The scenery is truly remarkable. The pool sits in clear view of the vineyards and Andes mountains. The staff, Melissa in particular, will take very good care of you while you lounge by the pool. We had a fantastic time.
The two on property restaurants, Katherina's and The Beef Club are both great! We really enjoyed our time at the Beef Club. My wife and i were the only ones dinning that night so we were able to converse with Chef Jose and chat with one of the Swiss owners, Phillip. The meal was incredible, wine pairings were great. It was as if we were really important people eating over at someone's house. We were taken care of, and by US standards, very inexpensively. MUST VISIT IF IN THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE.

Room Tip: Get a room that walks out to the pool.

We were booked at Entre Cielos for one night when the Cavas Wine Lodge was full. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful, new, modern, flawlessly maintained hotel with excellent staff. The spa and Haman alone, included in the room price, was worth the stay.

We are here in Argentina for a delayed honeymoon and about to check out of Entre Cielos after spending 3 nights here. I struggle with my assessment of the hotel - on the one hand, the staff is incredible and the setting is beautiful. The breakfast was tasty and the food at the restaurant was well-prepared and good. The beds were super comfy and I loved the decor with a big map spanning one entire wall. On the other hand, it took a pair of cheap ear plugs and constant running of the air conditioner all night to get a decent evening of rest in an expensive hotel. Our room was in the "young" class, and apparently can be converted to a two-room adjoining suite. However, the adjoining door is more like a paper screen - you might not be able to see your neighbors, but can hear every last word. It probably doesn't help that the door jamb allows light through, but then, the curved cement walls seem to capture and amplify everything from the next door space. 7am wake up call? What's theirs is yours! Brushing of teeth? Water off? Water on? Whistling to 90s rock on their Direct TV late night? You've got it all. So, for a pricey last few nights of a honeymoon, we did not get much in the way of privacy or cozy alone time.

While we had a lovely evening last night enjoying their Thursday jazz under the stars out by the pool with Champagne, and everyone here was warm and welcoming, I don't feel confident in recommending Entre Cielos unless I thought that there was a way to fix the sound problem.

Room Tip: Don't get one of the adjoining rooms, and avoid being on the side that faces the next door viney...

Dear AMJF00

Thank you for your feedback - although we wish we would have known about your discomfort in your room at the beginning of your stay - as we for sure could have found an immediate solution for you and letting you enjoy your honeymoon as you deserved it. We have taken care of finding a solution to the acoustic challenge in this room and will be able to change the doors now during the low season.

Kind regards, Entre Cielos, Cécile Adam

After a busy Argentinian adventure in Patagonia, Entre Cielos was a perfect place to refresh and relax for a few days. Loved the contemporary, minimalist, stylish architecture in a perfect setting with lovely pool and vineyard, with an Andes backdrop. Fun to walk to the winery next door for a tour and tasting. Really helpful staff, good WiFi...some delicous restaurant dishes. Fun evening with live music on the patio. Only complaint....coffee below normally good Argentinian standards.

We recently stayed 3 nights at Entre Cielos (mid-March 2012) during our Honeymoon and couldn't have been happier. The hotel is essentially brand-new and rooms are beautiful. The food at Katherina was great and the service through-out our stay was exceptional. Cielos set up a series of excellent winery visits, including a phenomenal wine-paired lunch at Melipal. Also spent a day in the Hamam spa and getting massage treatments, and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.

If you're visiting Mendoza and want an exceptional overall resort experience you must consider staying at Entre Cielos. From exceptional personal service from the front desk and concierge, to a beautiful, stand alone spa, to wonderful meals and excellent service both pool side and in both of their restaurants, to free wi-fi throughout the hotel (making our teenage daughters very happy) to cutting edge designs and very comfortable rooms (with fresh flowers and other welcoming amenities) our stay was fabulous. In fact, the staff "wowed" us, when the concierge learned that our daugther had left her eye glasses at a vinery she made it her mission to find them and retrieve them...ultimately on her day off! Entre Cielos team clearly is empowered to make their guests stay memorable and for our family they were.
