Cavas was definitely an unforgettable experience in Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza. The hotel service is impeccable, very attentive and personalized.
When we arrived, the staff was waiting for us with wine glasses in hand. It was late, so asked if we wanted to go to dinner, before, even, to do the check. Very good restaurant!
It was really cool because we were tired and hungry, we traveled all day long and the GPS still made us take many turns before arriving.
Even before we arrived the concierge was very collaborative, sent email offering options for visits to vineyards and restaurants. We have the chance to visit bodegas smaller and more interesting than the largest bodegas.
In the room there was a bottle of wine and a welcoming card waiting for us.
The hotel is very well maintained, clean and cozy. The room was spacious, with fireplace, bathroom with a nice hot tub and there was a small pool in the front. Great view from the mountains!
It also has a terrace with fireplace, super cool and romantic.
The sunrise is beautiful, the color of sky is pink. They've left a note in the room, warning us about the dawn. Stunning view!
We left very early, still served us breakfast. We did not expect to serve us out of hours. Surprising! It was the best hotel we have stayed in Argentina and hope to return! Super recommend!

One of the best hotels I've been. Starting with the location that is stunning, with amazing views of the Andes. The tasteful architecture, with spacious and nicely decorated rooms. It is impossible not to feel good at this hotel. It is very welcoming. The staff working at the hotel, deserves a note apart. They all are 10. Attention and sympathy that I had never seen. They do everything to please you, even unexpected surprises that never left your memory. I can not tell the surprises because it will spoils it, which should vary according to the profile of the guests. We lunched and dined in the hotel, that offers excellent food and a great and varied wine list.
The spa and sauna are very attractive and should be used for a relax after a day of wine tasting at wineries around the hotel. For sure you will find this place a paradise. All of the hotel are to be congratulated!

Room Tip: Choose a room with the Andes view.

I can't say enough good things about Cavas Wine Lodge. My husband and I stayed here for a few days during our honeymoon and were delighted at every turn. The rooms, as other reviewers have noted, are spacious and lovely. The plunge pool on our patio was a treat (even in winter!) as were the hot water bottles at the foot of our bed each night. The views of the vineyards in front of the Andes were thrilling. But, the stars of the hotel are really the staff, who are endlessly patient, helpful, and funny. In particular, Marcello, Sebastian, Soledad, and Fabio worked very hard to make guests' stays memorable. Carlos, one of the drivers, also made getting to each of the destinations as pleasant as the destinations themselves. I think the quality of service was is best demonstrated by the treatment we received when we were leaving the hotel: We left at 2:45 AM for an early flight and the night concierge arranged a special breakfast for us, with coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

We stayed at Cavas for a friend's birthday and what a celebration we had. Upon arrival, one is greeted with wine from the lodge's vineyard and escorted to your villa. Each of the 14 villas has a living room, bedroom, large bathroom, small pool, 2 fireplaces with one on the roof and expansive views of the majestic Andes. On one night, there is a tasting in the wine cellar and on one day, there is tango and musical entertainment. The staff can arrange wine tours, horseback riding, golf and transportation. They are a Relais and Château property.

Cavas Wine Lodge, just outside of Mendoza, in the heart of Malbec country...is a destination worth discovering! Cecelia and Martin are amazing hosts! Greeting us with a lovely glass of rose...followed by an outdoor cooking class with the chef...we made paella and empanadas...every detail was nailed to perfection! Cecelia and her staff were so wonderful...the casitas are so perfect...I want to go back now! And, the scenery of vineyards and the Andes in the distance...oh so fine!

Room Tip: All the casitas are wonderful. Such detail! You can even sleep under the stars in provided sleeping bag!
