While we were impressed with the updates, roominess and features of the condo, Coastline Realty ruined the entire experience for us. We have been renting on this island for years with other agencies and have never received such poor treatment until engaging Coastline Realty. We had wifi problems, inoperative TV, missing wallplates in bathroom, bathroom fixtures broken, dog urine all over the condo and it was not cleaned prior to our arrival with sand everywhere, including in the beds. We arrived late, therefore unable to report it immediately because Coastline was closed by the time we got settled. We called the next day and was advised simply to write it all up on the form provided in our rental packet and return it before we check out later in the week. That's it. No one offered to clean or fix the issues. When we called later in the week, the staff blamed the condo owner for the problems and said they handle it all so there was nothing Coastline could do. Not sure I buy that. The condo was beautiful and had a near gourmet kitchen set up that was amazing so attention to detail is definitely not something we feel this owner would overlook. While checking in we were advised that the prior renters broke the bed and caused other maintenance issues. I think Coastline simply didn't want to fix anything. It's a sad situation because the condo and location are top notch for a second-row property.
