We stayed there in August 2011. It was a little bit difficult to find it due to the lack of signs. The room was nicely decorated with a partial view to the sea. But for such a high price, we expected a better service, concerning the serving of breakfast or the provision of bath toiletries every day. And last but not least, when you pay 250€ per night for a room you don't expect to pay for your breakfast coffee (oh yes we were charged for the coffee we ordered with our breakfast. Ee loved Milos but not Salt

We booked a suite sea view for our honeymoon and when we got there Stavros gave us an upgrade for the Sea house (Kleftiko)!
Never seen anything like that before, actually is a apartment with 2 floors.
Ground floor have a living room with sofas and a big flat TV, a very nice fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator/freezer, cooktop, microwave, table for 4 and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine), bathroom with shower and a very large varanda with sea view (sofa area for a lot of people, big heated jacuzzi).
First Floor is the dorm room, master bed, more sofas (you can sleep there but not comfortably), flat TV, bathroom with nice shower, and two sea view small balconies.
All the places of the room are in white, and the lighting is almost always indirect. Very nice touch.
The sunset is amazing from there, and if you go see the sunrise from the village you will be equally impressed.
Breakfast is served in a basket at the time of your choice, not the best mas still good enough (the cookies are wonderful). Would be nice to have fresh orange juice and something from the kitchen like eggs and yogurt.
Dont have room service or mini bar.
TV has a lot of Greek channels and thats it (I suppose you wont care for the TV in a place like Milos).
Internet was not good, the signal was fine but couldn't get a connection most of the time.
Shower area at the first floor bathroom is "semi closed", it has the shape of a cave but still open, its hard to shower without making a mess. At the ground floor is worse, all open.

The village is less than 5 minutes walk with little good restaurants.
The hotel offers free transfer from and to the port or airport, and can arrange car rental.

Overall we had a very nice stay.

I read some comments above from Stefanie r and I would like to say that, nothing in front of salt is under construction and for real the hotel is not in front of the sea, but it’s on the sea… Room cleaning is every day, but if you spent there just one night how can you know for the cleaning?????
Excellent rooms, in fact there isn’t a simple hotel with typical rooms, but a hotel with 10 perfect minimal suites. Each suite has its own personality, other it’s little, other bigger, with or without Jacuzzi, but all of them have a very beautiful view to kalogeros sunset, even the sea side view suites. Excellent people, very polite and breakfast is simply wonderful… a basket with fresh greek flavors, from the best bakery of milos. When somebody go to salt feel so unique, all pure luxury at his feet!! It’s for real… just you and the sea…
Is exactly what you see in the hotel’s site, there are report for breakfast, for benefits of each room and you can see pictures of inside, outside and the view of rooms.
I spent my vacations 2 years there, in different rooms, first year in a sea side view suite and second in a sea view suite and I will go again this summer…

We came to Milos for 5 days on the end of a 3 week trip through Greece, Italy, and Croatia. We were on our honeymoon.

This hotel was absolutely awesome. It's beautiful. Every single design detail has been thoroughly thought through. We had a very private room with a great outdoor lounge area and our own jacuzzi.

We slept soundly every night - it's very quiet and the bed is really comfortable.

The bathroom is great - a rare find in Greece.

We highly recommend this place, and will definitely be back!!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Paleochori Suite, which I believe is the premium room. It's the most private a...

One of the most beautiful hotel rooms we have ever seen, with a breathtaking view of the sea. The photos will speak for themselves :-)

went there in september and got relatively good pricing, the most expensive in Milos, but still relatively cheap compared to Santorini where we just came from. 150E a night.

2 points:

1. you cannot swim in front of the hotel, so for those looking for a beachfront hotel, this is not it.
2. breakfast is really originally served, brought to your room in a basket. but to order the night before for croissants and breads, why? if it were eggs benedict, I could understand...

overall, a jaw dropping experience!

Room Tip: seafront rooms have best view, with a private jacuzzi! If you can afford it...

Just returned from a 21 day 5 island tour and our last stop was Milos staying at Salt - just wonderful. Loved the location rigth on the sea and just a short walk from the village. I had an upgraded room with our private jacuzzi and it was well worth it. The units are very upscale and are decorated very nice and come with coffee, small frige and the smallest microwave I ever saw. The staff were very helpful with recomendations and sight seeing - just a wonderful way to end the trip.
