Worst service, worst food. Who charges $8 for a milkshake? Louie's Cosy Corner does - and it was nothing special. Go to the Bras d'Or Lakes Inn instead!

“Third time a charm!”
Reviewed 19 March 2013

We had just driven four hours through wind, cold and snow when we arrived. Our third attempt at having an open restaurant at eight pm on St. Patrick's Day was great. A warm, friendly greeting met us at the front door.
The inside is simply done but clean.
We were seated immediately and offered drinks. Then came the menus.
We placed our orders and found out they even served a St. Patrick's Day dinner.
So we had three different dinners; a Chinese, Irish and fisherman's meal. The meals were served very quickly and hot.
The Chinese I was told was good, the fish (grilled haddock) was great and the Irish boiled dinner was tasty.
The young waitress came to check on our meals and see if we were satisfied or if there was something she could get us.
She asked about dessert and got one taker. The dessert chosen was a mock cheesecake with stewed strawberries.
All people, in the restaurant, seemed to be served in the same manner and with the same speed.
We were so pleased the waitress received the best gratuity we have ever given

Had a very nice meal at this restaurant. Nice waitress, good music (could be a little less louder), delicous food. I had the spagetti with meatsauce and a ceasar salade. It was all fresh and tastfull.
