Jean-Pierre and Rhoda are great hosts. Maritime hospitality at it's best. Clean, comfortable rooms, attentive and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is a great deal as well. Close to all there is to see in St. Peter's.

We do hear quite often about how comfortable the rooms are. And nothing like a great breakfast after a good sleep. Pleased to have made you visit to our village on the canal noteworthy for you.

The inn is in a great location and made a refreshing change from chain hotels/motels.
The room had everything we needed and very comfortable beds.

The restaurant is EXCELLENT! We had a delicious evening meal there. It's a classy restaurant without being pretentious and offers good value for money. There was a large party of locals dining there, which is a sure sign of great standards.

The buffet breakfast is really good and they make savoury pancakes and omelettes to order in the buffet area.
If we were doing our road trip again, we'd definitely stay longer at the Bras d'Or Inn.

Always great to meet visitors from across the pond Paula and we are very pleased that you enjoyed our location next to the Bras d'Or Lakes on the Bras d'Or Lakes Scenic Trail. We are pleased that you appreciated the cuisine and venue of both the main dining room and buffet area. May your next road trip, wherever that may be, provide you with similar memories.

Stumbled on this lovely lakeside inn after a long travel day in our rental car. Looked very inviting as we drove into St Peters, and we were well rewarded during our brief stopover. A family run business with all the friendliness one could want. Rooms clean, nicely appointed with very comfy beds. Dining, a Nova Scotia experience with lots of seafood on the menu - Digby scallops & lobster our choices. Breakfast next day reasonably priced and staff very friendly and attentive.
Highly recommend a stopover in this very well turned-out rural Nova Scotia village on the Lake.

We happened upon this restaurant - it was not listed in our guidebooks or GPS. What a shame, as the dinner was excellent. Fresh greens, fruits, seafood prepared just perfectly. I only wish we had known about it in time to stay overnight. Nothing in Port Hawksbury comes close.

My wife Judy and I spent 3 nights in June at the Inn and were very impressed. Our room was nicely decorated and clean and the bed very comfortable. The owners Jean Pierre and Rhoda went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Great buffet breakfast each morning and our dinners each evening simply delicious. Location is great right on the water and close to walk to the town. We would certainly recommend to our friends and not hesitate to return again. Thanks Jean Pierre and Rhoda.

We stayed here only one night while touring Nova Scotia. Our room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Both our dinner and breakfast in the dining room delicious. Would have liked to stay longer but our travel plans did not allow time for this, unfortunately.

We were impressed with the facilities and the close attention to our needs by the owners and staff. Jean Pierre, owner and chef, operates a gourmet dining room. The Inn's location, close to the canal and within walking distance to the village of St. Peter's is also convenient. The best accomodations and restaurant within miles.
