My wife and I first visited Sunnydays, before we had children and thought it was great then. In this August we thought we would stay here with our three children while on a trip to Switzerland. It has expanded and changed owners but it still remains a really great place to stay. Helpful friendly managers who walk exactly the right line about giving you help and advice but also giving you space when you need it. The rooms are spacious and clean and the views from the balconies are to die for. Self-service breakfasts were tasty and efficient, and it is close to enough Interlaken town centre and station to walk everywhere. All in all it's a really great place to stay.

Room Tip: See if you can get one of the balcony rooms -- the view of the mountains is a joy

Reasonably close to train station and bus stops this cheaply priced B&B offers clean, spacious rooms with various options for families, couples and singles.
Balconies on some rooms are delightful and views to mountains from some rooms are excellent.
Breakfast was adequate (although as expected not extensive) and car parking available.
Wifi was not available in room nine so we had to go outside and near the breakfast room to get internet, but other rooms did not have wifi issues.
If you have mobility concerns choose rooms 1 to 4 as there are more stairs to other rooms.
Check in hours are very limited but the manager did ensure arrangements were made if you arrived outside of hours.
Room 9 was very spacious with two bedrooms and a bathroom, but the bathroom was very hot due to a skylight without a blind. Good for families though with extra space, if you're able to carry luggage up two and a half levels.
Good for cheap accommodation.

Room Tip: Some rooms have mountain views, so ask if you want that.

Our room number was 5 and the view of the mountains were picture perfect. I really enjoyed just sitting on the balcony to relax, drink, and stare at the views.
Room was comfortable, but the bathroom could have been larger, but it was very adequate. Wi-Fi did not always work in the room. It was nicer to see the views than to be on your computer.
Breakfast was nice except for the coffee, for me, it was bitter. So, I used the NesCafe from the room and had a great cup of coffee.
Staff was very informative about the area. We enjoyed the clog train to the Eiger Mountain.

Room Tip: Room 5 for the View

Stayed at Interlaken West to enable us to travel to Jungfraujoch and Mt Titlis (Engelberg), which were roughly 2 1/2hrs and 3hrs respectively by train. The B&B was easy to find - word of warning, it is literally 400m from Interlaken West station to the B&B and we took a taxi as it looked like rain (and not knowing how close we were) the cost of the taxi was F14.00 (swiss francs) which is about $20 AUD, we walked back when leaving - much quicker and cheaper!
B&B room was number 7, beds were nice and comfortable, room large enough and lovely to be able to open the windows - bathroom clean and tidy but small. Good easy location to walk to restaurants - although at the time we went a lot were closed, presuming as it was early summer, not the high season. Breakfast was good, not overly large choice but enough to get you going in the day and as it was part of the room rate, well worth the money. The only negative would be stairs to get to rooms, a little difficult if arriving with heavy suitcases or having trouble with knees and there is no safe in the rooms.
I would stay here again, clean tidy, friendly, affordable and good location.

Room Tip: ground floor if stairs an issue

Sunny Days is a wonderful place to stay in Interlaken. The B&B is very centrally located (10 minute walk from Interlaken West), making it easy to get around the town as well as easy to partake in all the activities in the Alps. The rooms are clean, good-sized and very comfortable accommodations. Great breakfast spread in the morning. The proprietors couldn't be more helpful and friendly - would stay here again if I'm lucky enough to get back to Interlaken!
