The building is well maintained and clean. The Japanese room is a bit small (compared to some hotels which we had stayed before) but adequate to sleep 2 Adults and 2 Children. The hotel had arranged for a mandarin speaking staff to attend to us at the reception as well as during dinner. We had reserved for the crab meal dinner and we were glad we did. The meal which had crab served in different style (sashimi, shabu shabu, tempura) was very delicious. The staff was very attentive and patient in explaining the dishes served and how we should eat them which enhanced the dinning experience.
The natural onsen (hot spring) is worth a try. The staff even explained how we should wear the bathrobe The futon beds were very neatly prepared for us after our dinner and my family slept through the night (probably due to tiredness from the overnight flight and the visit to Tulip Park in Kamiyubetsu)More
