“Fabulous Cottage in a great location.”
Reviewed 23 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

I stayed at the cottage for two weeks while attending a course so I was on my own but it was so peaceful and relaxing being amongst nature that I will be going back next year with my husband. The cottage is spacious and clean and in a valley in what feels like the middle of nowhere but in only a short car journey away you can be in all the life of Estepona and nearby towns with great restaurants and busy nightlife that you can really get the best of both worlds. Highly recommended.

“Lovely relaxing stay”
Reviewed 29 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Thank you Tracey and Francisco for being lovely hosts. We had a lovely time and were very grateful for all of your help and advice for all our horsey needs.

It is a good location, so peaceful, but only a just a short drive to the beach and local towns, but also handy to be close to the motorway if you want to visit the Gibraltar, Cadiz, Jerez, Sevilla and other cities.

Many thanks

Ross and Amy

“Beautiful Horses, Beautiful countryside, Lovely accomodation”
Reviewed 22 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We spent a wonderful week, in a very comfortable cottage in a converted stable. This has been done to a high standard with everything you need for a wonderful stay. A very powerful hot show with multiple functions. Fridge /freezer, induction hob, all pots and pans etc, very comfy bed and sofa. Look out for the terrorist ( a young red deer) who decided to move in (to the ranch not the accommodation) He is lovely really but persistent. Tracey breeds Apaloosa horses and does trekking for experienced riders sadly that's not me, getting too old , but it was lovely to see and stroke the horses each day, Casares the nearest village is one of the most beautiful of the White villages in Spain. You do need a car and it is a bit of a bumpy lane but it was worth it for the views. We were made very welcome by our hosts.

“Luxurious Tranquility and horses too!”
Reviewed 29 July 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We booked this through the internet just from the pictures, it is without a doubt the best thing I have done this year! The accommodation was spotless and was way more than had been described! There is a huge cobbled courtyard in front of the cottages (the old stable yard) which has been converted into a patio and BBQ area with an Argentinian BBQ and a small Boules court. Beyond that is a large grass area with sun beds. At 1 km from the village of Casares, which is a typical white village of sugar cube houses and basic supplies, or 10 km from the coast and a very busy fishing village and all the varied restaurants and supermarkets you would imagine for the coast, along with a fabulous beach. The cottage has a huge walk-in power shower, huge comfy bed, and well equipped kitchen. Pleasant comfy sitting area. The owners carried out the conversion themselves with a great deal of care, and have managed to retain the character of the place. On the subject of the owners, they are very friendly and helpful, Tracey is from UK so no language issues! I fell in love with her horses and her gorgeous rescue dogs! For anyone who wants to enjoy the countryside either walking or from horseback it is perfect, a place for quiet reflection, the village itself is charming, and with the benefit of a car a great place to explore from, the beach we went to was not that far, about 10k and well worth it. The only downside.....was having to leave....but we shall be back next year!!!
