We stayed in this lovely bed and breakfast for two nights when we visited lyme regis for a wedding in river cottage. We found it by chance, as we were googling the area and were impressed by the website, the photos and mainly the price, for 60£ per room per night which was much lower than any other in the area, for a weekend in the begining of august! The room was on the ground floor, a spacious double bedroom, with its own spacious bathroom with a shower, but i think the house also has another room on the top floor. The house is really beautiful and well decorated in a neat, light, refreshed and homely fashion, revealing the landlady's keen and thoughtful eye and care in every corner. If i had noticed that there was going to be a babyliss hair dryer and a straightener i may have been tempted not to carry my own with me! One of the highlights: the breakfast with home made curds and marmalades, etc cooked for you by the hostess and served with nice porcelain, top highlight: the blue berry curd! Drawback? perhaps the location, as it is 5min by car from the sea, no sea view, but with a well kept garden where on a good day you can take your coffee, by the way, perfectly not too strong and not too light!!
would definitely stay there again!
