We recently spent 3 nights at the Springfield whilst visiting relatives who live in the area.
We chose this hotel because of it's facilities and good Tripadvisor reports.
We were not at all disappointed, it lived up to all our expectations in both the 3 star quality of the accomodation and facilities, and it's 3star plus quality of food.
We would definitely stay there again, when next in that area.
Many thanks to the management and staff.

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking the Dee estuary.Because it was November we kept our double glazed windows shut, and were not aware of any noise from the expressway.

we were invited to a pre arranged party for approx 80 people , i can honestley say ive never had such bad food , soup arrived cold , roast potatoes ( well i think thats what they were supposed to be ) were rock hard and cracked , looked like they were from the previous day and kept warm with a heat lamp for 24hrs , sweet was a chocolate afair that you could still taste the powder sachet in ...........even the "after eight" sustitute was a plastic "chemical" tasting chocolate .........all topped of by the waitress telling us to "pass the empty glasses down so she didnt spill things on people" , shame hotel looked inside like it was refurbed recently

Lovely staff, clean and comfortable room, good facilities and a great location to explore North Wales. Food was OK, menu got a bit monotonous after 4 nights, but good wholesome food with decent portions. On the whole, very happy with our stay and would stay again.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel are quieter.

We had room 56 this time we stayed. It was very large but not used to best advantage I feel. Large king size bed made by pushing 2 singles together which was fine but only 1 side had bedside cabinet also TV was on the dressing table to the side so you may get a stiff neck watching it whilst laying down.

1st morning the breakfast was full buffet continental and full English as there was a football team staying and students. The 2nd morning was a served cooked breakfast if wanted together with buffet continental breakfast.

There was a wedding party on the 2nd night we stayed. This did cause a bit of a mix up with our table reservation for that evening as they also had a party of students staying. They did apologise profusely and gave us a nice bottle of Pinot Noir at the house wine price (£10 off). Also even though we could hear the wedding party it did not disturb us.

The pool and Sauna was very welcome after a day walking round Liverpool.

The reason for staying at the Springfield hotel was for my husband and I to learn to swim.
The swimming course was brilliant and successful!! (we've been to a swimming pool locally twice in a week since our return home)
The hotel was good, our room could have done with updating but was very clean. The staff were all very pleasant without exception. The food was plentiful but basic.
The price we paid for the course and the hotel was good value for money
