This is an old barn or somthing and the location is pretty ugly. HOWEVER, they have yet created a fantastic athmosphere. This is as far from a regular villlage or ski resort restaurant as you can get. really different food pepared over open fire. Very convenient access to Les Arcs 1950 and 2000. Highly recommended food and ambiance experience. Take a late lunch and then "call it a day" ... :-)

This is the first time we have eaten here in the Summer. A totally different experence to the Winter season, but still great. Wonderful (if expensive) food and very friendly staff. We found the owner to be very helpful and keen to make our meal memorable! My wife loved the giant prawns, whilst my steak was sublime! Sun loungers available (at a price, even when you have just spent a fortune on your meal) to sleep off your meal. It was quite an effort to walk back to 1950 afterwards, but I trust I managed to shed a few of the recently-acquired calories!

If you don't wish to eat, there are a couple of comfortable sofas outside where they will serve you a drink and nibbles. Well worth visiting once on your holiday for an expensive treat!

An atmospheric and quirky building with steep ladder like stairs, antique furniture and an eye for its history that make belliou la fumee a lovely setting to eat. A bit cramped and tables too close to each other - but sharing larger tables is a good idea. So far, so good. However, the real nub is the price of the food for what you get. For example, I had scallops as a main course - for almost 30 euros 3 scallops and a sautéed leek in butter that is extortionate, not least because they were adequately cooked but without any major technique to embellish or enhance. The kids' menus were way over-priced too, at almost the same price as the adults' menu. I won't be going back at these prices.....

This was the most amazing restaurant full of atmospehere and character. We would have eaten there all the time, only conscious of having to walk off all the food. Staff lovely and lovely pool; and loungers if you wanted to have a swim afterwards - Settting beautlful
