We ended our first full day hiking the Haute Route by staying at this place. Believe me, after 10 hours of rain/snow and steep, it was a fine relief to find it. Not the friendliest of people ("don't come in with you boots on". Made sense, actually) and their ability to speak English was about the same as our ability to speak Swiss/French. It's acutally a dorm-style place for trekkers such as our selves. We were in a room with 12 beds (although we were the only ones in that room as it was near the end of the trekking season). There are bathrooms down the hall. There is a restaurant attached with good food (fondue) and beer. What else do you need?
