“Taseful, comfortable and convenient”
Reviewed 31 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

The accommodation was spot on for our needs in terms of comfort (2 adults plus 5 yr old) and location (Snowdonia National Park). The kitchen cottage is well equipped, beyond obvious items, the cupboards have plastic containers, variety of oven proof dishes, tins for baking, scale, citrus juicer and utensils that made food preparation/storage comfortable.
I brought provisions for 3 days and we made one more trip to supermarket to stock up for the remaining days. There are bedtime stories, puzzles and games and early-years toys in the cottage which our daughter played with as well as some DVDs. The wifi was ok for browsing but streaming films was a bit challanging.
The cottage was warm with possibility to override settings to suitable temperature and there was always hot water.
We loved the independence self-catering accommodation brings and the owners that live in the house nearby were not intrusive. Lastly. the interior decoration was very taseful and this also provided for a comfortable stay. Many thanks to the hosts!

“Cosy cottage perfectly situated to explore all Snowdonia has to offer”
Reviewed 29 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We chose this lovely cosy cottage based on previous reviews and were not disappointed. It is very well equipped, Ray and Marie have thought of everything. It is located in the most peaceful surroundings and offers wonderful walks right on the doorstep. It is also perfectly situated to explore all Snowdonia has to offer. We took the Llanberis path to the top of Snowdon and we were rewarded with the most breathtaking views (and very good weather). We also visited Porthmadog, Borth y Gest, Black Rock Sands, Harlech, Dolgellau, Caernarfon and its famous castle, both of the local Coaching Inns and one day we will have to return because we could not fit any more in!

“Charming Cottage In A Beautiful Spot”
Reviewed 12 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

I stayed here with my wife and 2 young children for a Summer holiday. The living room was a good size space. The second bedroom has a single bed in it, but was also spacious enough to include an inflatable bed in it to.
The terrace was a nice area and we were lucky enough with the weather to enjoy breakfast and dinner there some days.
The cottage is located not too far from the main road, and enjoys a really peaceful location. A great base for visiting North Wales attractions.
The owners were very friendly and gave us recommendations for the stay. The bottle of wine awaiting us on our arrival was a lovely touch too.
Would highly recommend this cottage , and look forward to returning one day hopefully

“We're hooked on this lovely place!”

We came to stay here this last week this time for four nights,we have arranged to come back again next year. This is such a nice cosy cottage and tucked away and very private, whilst it's location is very good with lovely gardens and grounds it's near to where there are steam train rides and places to visit although you do need a car. The cottage itself is very well equipped and comfortable. I highly recommend it as a bolt hole away from it all without feeling too isolated. Thanks to Marie and Ray the owners for the way they know what people like for a holiday.

Irecently spent several days in this beautiful part of Wales,to visit The Welsh Highland Railway and Portmerion. We arrived in usual wet Welsh weather-no problem finding this hideaway cottage due to an excellent Welcome Guide sent by the owners. We stepped in out of the rain to find everything ready for a cuppa, and upstairs a dining table laid ,with wine! The cottage was beautifully appointed, with everything provided for our comfort-shower room immaculate, and comfortable and stylish bedrooms-I will definitely visit again. We were able to find great local eating places from our guide-2 great pub/restaurants 5 minutes away.Railway spectacular-Portmeirion beautiful-plenty to do here-thankyou to very friendly owners who were most helpful.Highly recommended!

“Gorgeous secluded getaway cottage, great location”

Me & my OH spent a lovely long weekend at the Coach House for our anniversary & it was everything we'd hoped for, a cosy old cottage with great facilities, comfortable, quiet & spotlessly clean. It is very secluded (though easy to find) and has a pretty little private garden for guests. The surrounding countryside is stunning and the coast is only a short drive away. There are a number of very good restaurants nearby in Harlech & Porthmadog & a couple of nice local pubs. The owners Ray & Marie made us very welcome and were so friendly & helpful. Wished we could have stayed longer & would definitely visit again!

“Stunning location”
Reviewed 11 July 2016 for a stay in May 2016

The coach house was tucked away and felt private even though it is very near owners house, the cottage was very clean and comfortable with every thing you need for a comfortable stay, there is plenty to do in and around the area and the views are stunning, we would highly recommend the coach house to anyone.
