“A beautiful example of an endearing cottage”

We booked this cottage for four days, and despite the indifferent weather we experienced, would book it again, just to sample again the luxurious pleasures it offers its guests. Pre arrival we were given excellent instructions and guidance and upon arrival found a welcome pack and the essentials you need after a lengthy journey.
The photos of the cottage do great justice to the reality of the renovation that has taken place.
The lounge area contains two leather settees in front of a log burner with start-up supplies available. The lighting arrangements can suit any occasion or mood. The adjoining kitchen area is well designed and well equipped. The bedroom has a really comfortable king-size bed and like the lounge served with a tv. The bathroom would relax the most tired of holiday makers with its walk-in wet area and jacuzzi. There was also free wi-fi, but no mobile signal.
The two local pubs were ok but limited for vegetarians.....The Oakley Arms was better than The Grapes.
Maentwrog is a good point for exploring the region.
We really loved this little Snowdonian hideaway,

“Perfect little romantic break!”

I booked this cottage as a surprise for my boyfriend on our anniversary.
I was very pleased with how the photos matched the reality, the cottage is nothing short of fantastic!
As soon as we got there, we were greeted with a bottle of fizz, some chocolates and welsh cakes. The cottage had everything you needed, from crockery to milk.
The little extra details like the hanging love hearts and the candles made it feel very homely and well loved.
We rented the cottage for 2 nights in mid December, and honestly we weren't even concerned about leaving the cottage! I mean who would want to leave the log fire and the jacuzzi tub to go in the lovely welsh December weather?! However we did make the effort to leave our little hideaway, we ventured to the pub which was about a minutes walk from the cottage for a drink, and then visited Harlech in the day! The whole area was lovely and we were blown away with the scenery and the traditional welsh way of life!
The wifi was an added bonus, and everything worked as it should have, everything was modern and easy to use, and if there was anything we didn't understand, the manual guide provided by the owners explained everything in detail!

I could go on forever about how wonderful this place was, but I don't want to bore you too much! Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay!

:)

We booked a very last minute getaway to this cottage and I'm so glad we did. We received an almost immediate confirmation from the owners which made our planning much easier. The cottage was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, well equipped and so homely! We very much appreciated the thoughtful touches of homemade cakes and fresh milk and butter on our arrival, they made it extra special! There are a couple of pubs nearby with a great atmosphere and the local surroundings are idyllic. The cottage is an is an ideal base to explore further afield in North Wales. Thank you very much for our perfect holiday, we had a brilliant time!
