Having had drinks in the port, we headed for this place, not expecting anything more than a Spanish style touristy Chinese Restaurant. It was busy - including a party of Norwegian golfers. The service was friendly, quick and efficient. We visit Manchester Chinatown a lot so our standards of Cantonese food are pretty high and we all agreed that our food was every bit as good as at home - at two thirds the price. Free brandy/limoncillo/baileys with the bill was an added bonus. Three people with drinks for a little over 50 euros. I am certain we will return.

My partner and myself popped in one rainy evening unfortunately it was nearly empty , but the service was excellent the food was very good , in fact even though we opted for the set menu , it was far too much as the portions were larger than average , the bill for 2 people with drinks came to 45 euros , well worth the money .we will definitely be visiting again when we return to this lovely port area .

Zhong Wei, the young owner of the Asiatic Restaurant :The slow boat to China" welcomes his guests with a bright smile and a firm handshake. Good atmosphere, friendly professional English/Spanish speaking staff, tasty food, The Pekinese duck with pancakes euro13.95 is highly recommended and is the most expensive plate. Of course there is a huge menu-card and the plates we ordered were just great. So we went back several times and were never dissapointed. You `ll find it right in the middle of the charming Puerto de la Duquesa.
By the way Zhong Wei means John in English.

Probably, if not the best chinese food I've ever had. Two bottles of house wine thrown in for good measure just to get 10 of us through the door. We also had a takeaway a few days later and it was also excellent. When we waited for the takeaway two cokes and prawn crackers greeted us.
The amount crammed in was enough for two people to eat the following day.
