“Snow that sticks and 50% closed off.”
Reviewed 19 March 2014

Whilst we were there a half of the mountain was closed off for a three day event which didn't seem to have competitors. The snow park was fun and the food was ok. The snow became sticky and was similar to driving jerkily. Half the mountain skiers left due to the conditions not helped by the resort staff.

“Great resort with lots of terrain”
Reviewed 21 February 2014

One of my favourite places to ride. Greta terrain, seems like its groomed well and plenty of lifties. Great park.

“Favorite slope in Hakuba”
Reviewed 18 February 2014

We had a week in Hakuba and this was our favorite resort.
It is quite small but very pretty with phenomenal views if you can visit on a clear day.
It is mostly red and green runs so may not suit expert skiers. The boarders in our group loved it too.
Easy efficient bus transfers from Happo. great for a change of scene.

“great run preparation, excellent snow”
Reviewed 17 February 2014

Great resort, very enjoyable skiing. Lots of run variety, and generally nice wide piste areas. Only reason it doesn't get a top rating is that many of the lifts are old & slow, some without safety bars, didn't find any with footrests, and all are set far too low for comfortable load / unload.

“Great day”
Reviewed 7 February 2014

Iwatake was one of the three resorts we skied when at Hakuba and the most fun. Brilliant day with blue skies, good snow and no wait on the lifts, what else could you ask for. The restaurant on the hill was fab and simply put, a great day.
